I wish Arthur Fleck could’ve been The Joker of The Batman universe. The Gotham feels the same, he fits the tone and style of that world and even young Bruce Wayne sorta looks like Pattinsons version. All the inaccuracy’s between both films can simply be explained away by Jokers multiple choice origin story like in The Killing Joke which the first Joker movie even alludes to at the end. In fact having him make up a reality where he may or may not be Bruce’s half brother is kind of a perfect joke how he probably knows who Batman is. Joaquin and Pattinson would’ve been a legendary rivalry, missed opportunity in my books and I’m glad other people seem to think so too
@@EJP3076 Yeah, Barry Keoghan's Joker could be one of Arthur's apprentices, his heir. Given the thugs with Joker-esque makeup in the start the implication is that the Joker is seen as a sign of criminal resistance. Plus, Arthur and Bruce walk almost parallel paths with both on the edge of sanity, while one fights back the other embraces it.
@@TylerDavis-y4x WB could have force the merger of both movies. But the problem is that both movies had really pretentious directos (Phillips and Reeves), and they don’t want their artistic vision meddled with. So of course they didn’t want each other’s work on their own. Phillips already proved to be a waste of money with his Joker sequel. Time will tell if Reeves can do better Batman films. But in the end, WB is the owner of the franchise, and they just let these directors have too much freedom. And we the fans lose, because we can’t get nice stuff like Phoenix Joker vs Battinson.
If only the joker movie would have taken place in 1991 (considering Bruce Wayne as a 7 year old at the time) it'd be possible to set it on the same universe
@@jadenlol7441to be honest you could make that work in a twisted way like joker found a young boy Bruce age and was mentally made to be like him moulded by him and act like him to the point you can’t tell them apart
They should have add the Waynes death scene into it so that can affect Batman's issue how they would been murdered back then, which will especially be around 20-40.
This is great! I think the whole theme of scars effected both Arthur and Bruce in different ways; even when he was a baby, Arthur was subjected to hate and was spit on by society and that plays a role into his transformation into the Joker. Meanwhile Bruce grew up privileged until his parents were taken from him and when he became Batman. He channels all the fear and trauma he went through and used it as fuel for violence again Gotham's criminals to the point where people are scared, including the cops. It's not until the final act that he realizes that he needed to be more than Gotham's boogeyman, he needs to hope and help people and that he's going to be donning the playboy persona and help fix up Gotham. In the end, Bruce didn't let his vengeance and scars of his past consume him. Arthur on the other hand, grew up in a place so corrupt that his scars played a role in who he became. I'm glad Joker and The Batman are in their own separate verses and I highly recommend both films to everyone. Fantastic edit!

The Batman (2022) is more of a true sequel to Joker (2019) than the actual Joker sequel.
Dude, I would have watched a crossover of this movie.
Better then the crap Joker sequel we got.
It was wasted potential to not have these two movies be in the same universe. No one can change my mind

I loved this version of the Joker and this version of Batman I really wished they were set in the same universe somehow.
SAME

@@chrislancer3813it is the problem of dc they do a origin movie later
Even tho another joker is in the batman 2022, lets just say the young joker is joker's son

I loved the part where Bruce is watching joker on the TV, it just fits so well
Joker and batman>>
They honestly even look like they could be brothers
This was a missed opportunity to add the Arthur fleck laughing towards the middle over Batman talking
It's Good 🦇 vs. Evil 🃏!

A match made in heaven. 🖤🔥🤌
This is incredible. How does this only have 85 likes??

His scars are the same as the scars of the whole society. Batman is completely different.
