That hit hard in a very sentimental way. My grandmother passed away from ovarian cancer in 2000, I was 16. The bond between a grandmother and grandson is incomparable. If you still have grandparents , shower them with Love.

Marvin Mitchell is a genius!
only finance if its cheaper than it would cost you in cash. this makes sense only with fixed long term interest. it's a slippery slope that you guys are proposing. I agree with some of the logic. my philosophy is to add diversified assets incrementally. live below your means. have emergency fund.

Thanks for clearing that up…you actually have to put money in for you to be able to borrow in the first place. I think many people like myself didn’t get that part. I thought once you get the policy you could borrow from it right away but I actually need to put 100,000 for example, into the policy and then borrow. That does change the game for me at this time because I don’t even have that to put into the policy. I really can’t use this unless I come across some money 💰 but thanks for clearing that up.

What Marvin said about not paying back a loan on an insurance policy is not entirely true. If you do not pay back the loan, interest is added each year and continues to compound until your loan value equals your cahs value. Then the policy dies.

There's no such thing as tax free anything. The reason you don't pay taxes on a WLP is that you're borrowing your own money. The interest you earn, at best, is a meager 3%. Also, you don't pay taxes on that 3% because the government considers it a refund of premiums over paid. There's a lot more, but I won't get into it.
What he said about paying interest one way, or the other, was good, and true. The HELOC thing I'm kind of up in-the-air about. But, personally, I wouldn't have anything to do with a WLP.
JUST CLOSED ON ANOTHER INVESTMENT. MY 10 YEAR GOAL MEET IN 7.5 YEARS. 🦅
What I hate about 401K investments are the fact that the investment vehicles are limited to mutual funds and less open to stocks and IPOs that earn money at better rates.
Great! Good going great example the experience was gainful. I'm learning thanks to you guys and the teachers for their maths. You guys are right I've really didn't know this as a person as it pertains to accounts options getting a broker account along with a mentor. Learning hard money lenders also another one on real estate.
All the things we were not taught or were hidden from us. Truth will always out in the fullness of time, we are flat out busy with our compounding plans to create 50k millionaires in 6 years (feeling blessed)
