    RWD, FWD, and err 4WD? Some bloke at Audi must have watched this...Jurgen, hold my beer! Fast-forward two years...but anyway, great video. When Ford ruled the rallying world. Sad that they never dominated again really. I grew up in the 1970s watching the great RS Escorts.

    The stages were much longer back than, the safety was basic, the entire philosophy was different

    Ex works cars are now worth a Fortune, a pleasure to see them at Rally shows sometimes.
    The great thing about this period ,the 70s works escorts is the wide variety of liveries carried, unlike today's corporate statement where for cars only have the entry number and registration plate different.
