Razer getting high, did they realize after the Wolverine V1 ultimate all of the rest are garbage ? All they need is bring wireless to the v1 ultimate. If they want a share with ps market, at least they have to make gyro, haptic rumble, addaptive trigger, wireless and good price.
Hey bro nice video! Do you know if the controller has the touchpad features of the dual sense? I mean, like to play Detroit become human where u need to slide your finger in the touchpad for open the door for example.
I took mine back to GameStop and they tried to get me to keep it! I told them I really wanted the victrix pdp one and they tried so hard to get me to keep this one instead! I’m like “no thanks! I’ll wait for the pdp victrix one to release” heard great things about that one.
@@dailyvloggyt6631 at the moment I have victrix controller for the Xbox which I absolutely love but unfortunately I haven’t been able to get my hands on the PS5 version since it’s been delayed till January 1st. Some people have been able to get their hands on one, but I haven’t but as soon as I do, I will definitely doing an unboxing and overview of the Controller.
Yeah, I made the mistake of cancelling the PDP Victrix becayse it was delayed thinking this one would be better and would get to me sooner which it did. I returned this will keep an eye on the PDP one and the one Sony will release. I will get one of those two.
I just received my Razer controller and I should have done more research before buying. I am returning this immediately. On my PS5 I only play mainly single player story driven games, and this controller is missing key PlayStation features that I was not aware of that I must have. I wanted this to be my only PS5 controller and this is not it. The controller feels good in my hands. I like the Xbox style sticks, but there is no vibration, I like the click sounding buttons, but for $250 the tradeoff is not worth it. I assume the battery life has to be better than my standard PS5 controllers since there is no vibration, no haptic feedback, and I kind of like being able to remove the rear paddles which this one doesn't allow. It is just best to return it and wait for Sony's Pro controller.
Yeah and a lot of people will argue that this is a pro controller so not to expect any of those features that a regular PS5 controller has and I totally understand that, but then it should’ve been marketed strictly as a PRO controller and more mention should’ve been made of this up front. Four $250 there should really be something spectacular about this controller and there really isn’t especially when compared to the victrix pro BFG or the dual sense that will be coming out soon..
@@mpp0919 The controller wasn't for me and I returned it. All good. There really is no need for that response. I have no idea what a Sony Pony is. I game on all of the consoles, and am just a gamer. Some of you really need to learn how to respectfully talk to other adults online.
As someone who also has this controller, yes if you are looking at this thing make sure it is for multiplayer games 😂 it is definitely explicitly meant for that and for multiplayer games the controller is great. The 6 mappable buttons are in comfortable places and the d pad is a nice touch. Trigger stops too ofc. The thing that really puts the controller on top for me is the mechanical buttons it is hard to go back once you start using them. The lack of rumble is disappointing especially since the original raiju had great rumble but most people who are trying to be competitive in fps turn it off anyways to help with aim. Just writing this for anyone thinking about getting it.
Im returning mines this week. I cant use my headset with the controller. Whenever I turn on my headset, the controller starts to lag every few seconds.
Man I prordered this controller a few months ago then I cancelled it because I liked the victrix price better. Victrix has now pushed release date back 2 months though and I'm not giving my business to a company that misses their release date by 2 months. Victrix looks like decent controller but I'm done waiting I reordered this razer. I don't know how I feel about it. Way too expensive for what you get in the box and I'm a little concerned about the back buttons but I can't get used to my aim dualsense. Once you go paddles you can't go back. I use elite 2 on xbox and it's been amazing. Hoping this razer feels close to it.
Yeah man I definitely feel you about the victrix controller. I’ve had it on pre-order three times now and it’s gotten pushed back the first time it was supposed to be released on the 16th and then January 1 and now February 2 and I don’t know why they keep doing it, but there must be a reason. When it really comes down to it, my absolute beef is the price and I get it it’s a pro tournament controller and all of that but still for $250 at least give people a case or something to carry it with. let me know if you end up liking, the razor controller
@@Jphxsuns2007 will do. If it doesn't feel good within 3 days I'll be returning at that price. Pretty ridiculous what all these pro controllers are costing.
So I have about 10 hours on the razer now. I think its a pretty nice controller overall. Feels like good quality I like the d pad and the feel of the clicky buttons. The back button layout is really the only thing I don't like about it. It's kinda awkward but I am getting used to it. I think its more comfortable than my aim dualsense but not as comfortable as my elite 2 for xbox. Besides the back buttons it does feel pretty similar to my elite tho which I like. For what you get its definitely overpriced tho. It should of came with a case, a longer usb cable and maybe some more sticks. The rgb lighting is pretty nice and battery life is better also. It's definitely overpriced but I quit drinking and gaming is cheaper so I really don't care. Others have said it feels cheap I really don't think it does. It is kinda light but it's probably due to no vibration motors. I also don't care that it doesn't have haptics or vibration I turn all that crap off anyways. I think the victrix is better priced and maybe a better option but I was done waiting for it. Overall I'm happy with the razer but the price is ridiculous.
got the controller today and i absolutely hate it. maybe as time goes on and my fingers can train to be arthritis prone i would maybe like it but i shoulda waited until the victrix controller
Ya I honestly tried to like it but it feels exactly like my Xbox Wolverine controller. It’s like they used the same Xbox Wolverine and just slapped a ps5 box on it. 250$ nah but maybe 150, if that. There is a magic too it that’ll make you try to believe that it’s dope but after a while it wears off.
@@Jphxsuns2007 yeah for 275 after taxes in my state, i’d rather waited until the victrix came out in february where the back buttons are set up more like the elite series 2 (my main on pc and series s) i can look past the haptic feed backs cuz i dont really play games that require them but like you said, you pay the price to try and like it but it just isnt enough
Vitrix is pretty trash too to be honest I have both. Razers paddle design is unforgivably bad pretty much unusable as a pro controller. And the no case for 250 it's spit in there hands and slapping your face. All bad guys this is going to be dirt cheap next year
Vitrix is so small and it's a really bad quality build it's paddles are pretty nice but overall components are so cheap you can just feel it is a piece of shit. It feels like a childs remote pretty close to a Fisher price toy. Easy to map though.
I would just get the PlayStation dual sense pro. I had issues with the trigger on the victrix pro BFG for the PlayStation five and the wolverine didn’t really suit my style.
Price is a scam. Its the exact same controller as the Xbox version (Razer Wolverine Chroma) you can get that one for close to 100€/$/£ or whatever. Dont buy this controller PLEASE!
I own v1 ultimate, and last year I bought v2 chroma but force return after 3 days. Bad products ever from the ergonomic, materials, face buttons force. And now the v2 pro also the same with wireless with freaking ridiculous price. Please anyone hold razer manager hand and lead them to the pro zone. They are getting high.
Thanks. $250 to be missing the essential PS5 features, no Bluetooth for dual PC-PS5 support? Id rather mod the current Dualsense for far cheaper and it will perform better for 1/3 the cost.
yeah i ordered the Victrix pro BFG and a normal ds5 and I’m on PC and will probably put a extreme kit on it as some point but wanna see how i get on first
DS Edge is overpriced garbage. No hall effect joysticks, and a stupid system that requires you to keep buying replacement modules to "fix" stick drift. Also, the grips peel off after a while, and the back paddles are susceptible to breaking. Nacon and Victrix make far better PS5 pro controllers, and Hex Gaming makes the best modded Dualsense controllers.
