I don't think people understand the level of difficulty this song is at in terms of drumming. This is a masterpiece. This is someone painting the mona lisa stroke for stroke. All the beats, the kicks, the movement, it's all perfect. Played with the finesse of one of the greatest musicians to ever be born. This is a mark of mastery. Well done.
Sina is one of the best drummers, some pro bands, want on their album. She's played with the Doobie Brothers, and covered a few of Keith Moons drum solo's for a TV show.
First I will say she's 10 times better than I am but she did not do it perfect not at all and she would tell you that herself go look at 3:08-3:09 on the video face tells it all she screwed up and she knows it, not putting her down she's awesome no doubt but she didn't do it right........
You don't PLAY drums, you FEEL drums, and this girl can certainly FEEL those drums. As many have already said, Neil Peart was an amazing drummer and extremely difficult to replicate. Well done, Sina.
Sina's technique is amazingly pure here. 100 per cent concentration. Oddly enough, Sina did some of the most demanding covers at a very young age. Gutsy one she :)💪
With the passing of the “Professor” Neil Pearl, it was wonderful to have seen this video even though this was a long time ago. Makes me so happy to see you covering many of the drummers I grew up with and have influenced me and my playing. When you play I study your playing and technique as I have all this drummers of my generation. After listening to one of Neils videos and how he revolves and changed over the years the way he approached the drums I see many of the same techniques he uses and applies in you. From the way you hold your sticks to how you use your wrists and not just your arms. Your kick drum reminds me of Ian Paice. I just am mesmerized by your playing and can watch you play for hours. Thank you
This is just ridiculous! I'm absolutely blown away! Sina! You rock, girl! What a gifted person you are! This is such a difficult song to cover! Great work.
I'm "old" now, but in the 70's & early 80's I played professionally then instructed for a some time. Tom Sawyer is a challenging song to play correctly. Neil Peart once said he is always pleased when he gets it right because it's a hard song to play right. Well, you did a very good job. I could see on your face a couple things you weren't happy with, we are our own worse critics aren't we? Fine job. Keep doing what your doing. I love your project with other Internet musicians as well. Could be the new future of music... Musician mix & match. Lol. Best of luck. MARK
OK this awesome drummer has covered john bonham, ginger baker, kieth moon, and neil peart damn near perfectly .all before she can flippin drive. guess she has no choice but to become a legend herself . absolutley well done
Not a drummer, but agree with you on her skills. The section at 3:00 to 3:15 is really great, topped of with a smile when she hits it well. I must have watched that part 20 times!
No greater tribute to a great drummer than this cover from an inspiring new drummer.....Neil Peart is smiling down on this young lady.....Sina is truly special.....
I'm very impressed for two reasons: 1. The obvious. 2. That a girl your age likes rock and roll. You're an old soul, Sina. Keep being true to yourself!
All the classic rock I'm hearing, tells me there is still hope for music today. Don't let the trolls who don't have the guts to post their own takes stop you from following your heart.
Take it from me Sina. I played all these songs back when they were popular. I know every note of every song that you have covered and all the other players parts too. You are perfection. On the money. Perfect execution of all the drum parts i've heard you do. I'm retired in my 60's and you are inspiring me to start playing again and putting a band together! I miss playing these tunes. You have a real gift. You're really doing good work. Burn, Rosanna, Zepp, Queen, etc. Amazing! You go girl! I'm listening.😉😁
@@sina-drums oh and btw, i was really good back in my day but you're nailing some licks that i missed back then. I just realized that i was adding some licks that weren't there and missing some that were. Very cool! You're educating me now! Wow! Haha! Keep it up! Good stuff girl!

Hey Sina! Here's another older one still getting plenty of current activity. This, so far as I can tell, is a flawless rendition of a very complex drum piece originally performed by Neil Peart. And he's nobody's idea of a simple drummer! You were calm, relaxed and perfectly in the groove. What a nice delivery - thank you!!
The only people I can imagine voting this down would be those riddled with jealousy that a teenage girl can play rings around them. You've got mad talent, little Miss!
Lonnie Turner II, my thoughts exactly! I've watched Neil a hundred times on his kits this lil chick is note for note! Very hard to duplicate! I stumbled upon this one as I was trying to find the one of her covering John Bonham's "Fool In The Rain" one of my all-time favorite Zeppelin songs and my most favorite John Bonham song! kudos Sina! Sina you are sooooo cool and sooooo talented! And what I really like about your videos is that you let the audience see what you're doing on the foot bass also. Awesome!
I had my eye on your hands during this piece. The hands of mastery, similar to a violinist. Balanced yet gripped only when needed. And the smile that seems to flash when you conquer a difficult section. All lovely to watch!
Good job! I'm a drummer and I can tell you that this is a very hard song to play. Even Neil Pert says it can still be a challenge sometimes. I can't wait to see you in a few years down the road when you mature as a women and a drummer.
Just discovered your videos. Very impressive. What I thought was most impressive with this song was how you kept your time. There are parts that get very busy and it's very easy to start playing fast but you held it together. BTW, my dad was a drummer and he was a huge Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa fan. I started playing when I was maybe 9 or 10 and loved to try and play along to all my dad's records. Unfortunately, money got tight and my dad gave up his kit and I never played again. I've had an opportunity to sit down at a kit from time to time, but I find that I can't separate my feet from my hands so I have a keen appreciation for talented drummers like yourself. Sina, Rush has one of the top 3, if not the greatest drummer in the history of metal rock. Your ability to play rush shows that you are just as good as the late Neil Pert.
Jkeaty 2 you are so right. This is a hard song to play and she does a great tribute to the late Neil Pert. Great job. Another great female drummer, Meytal Cohen also covers this song. Check her out on RUclips.
Very respectable cover - kick ass. Looking over some of your other videos, looks like you spent a lot of time in Mom or Dads record collection? (Laughing) Your parents have great taste in music and produced a very talented kid - good luck to you.
I've seen Neil perform Tom Sawyer dozens of times. I close my eyes and I'm right back in the concert hall. Well done!!!!
That was BAD ASS!

It makes me so,so happy to see this young generation playing music that was on the radio before they were born. Rock is not defined by age.!!!
That's so true!
I am 12 and I play music like this on drums, I don't listen to newer music
I play that stuff too, I have a weird variety of interests
WOW!!!
Leo Wolfe Agreed! They ,younger generation, easily forget who started all the music!
Neal Peart is not the easiest drummer to cover nor is this song and you absolutely nailed it. Great job Sina :)
You bet he isn't!
Tim Baxter , WTF did i just read ?
He trained with jazz drummers in NYC, he was reluctant at first but it paid off, he has some wild beats.
If he were still here, I think Neil would approve.
Rip Neil Peart 😖😖😖😖😖

I think any drummer would be impressed by her drumming to their song. true talent.
It's one of the most fierce drum songs I've heard, and yep, this was impressive. Exciting to watch her rip it.
RIP Neal Peart
A master drummer at such a young age. So very few people appreciate the talent of the drummer. Bravo Sina!!!!!!!
Is she too young to know that "One does not simply sit down and play Neil Pert".
You are very talented Sina, Keep up the good work.
For sure! Every young drummer that tries Rush immediately realizes that it's not your typical drumming. You can ask any drum teacher.

One more to try would be Danny Carey
When she does drive, I wonder if she will hit the gas pedal like she does that kick drum.
And even some good drummers, too... 😎
If she could drive like she drums, she'd be a top level F1 driver, I'm sure!
Almost 5 years ago and Sina at 15 does a terrific job - imagine she did this today?
Id love to see that
@V Bye she does still do this today, I get her new videos all the time. I think what Stephen Fisher meant was imagine if she redid Tom Sawyer today.
Yes please.
I'm a retired drummer, and completely blown away by your skills at a young age. you will go far.
Thanks a lot!

A technical beat and physically demanding for sure. Heck any Rush song is the same challenge on the skins. Very well done and thank you for sharing.
I just love watching you drum; it's mesmerizing.
I think it's because you make it look so effortless.
First of all, that was just wonderful. That’s some seriously major league drum work by one of rock’s greatest and this cover was flawless.
I'm Southern California growing up with the rock stations of LA You rock my world every day thank you so much..
You can tell she loves what she does.
love the pedal cam .. well done
You just blew me away Sina!!! You have definitely put in the work and are such a talent...rock on!!!
Very respectable cover - kick ass. Looking over some of your other videos, looks like you spent a lot of time in Mom or Dads record collection? (Laughing) Your parents have great taste in music and produced a very talented kid - good luck to you.
Thanks :)
Awesome Sina, you rocked this one!! Love the video work too. \m/
Miss Emily Christine Thanks a lot, that's very kind of you Emily. You keep getting better on the drums from week to week!
