L for “low gear” or equivalent to 1st gear, meaning it will not shift and will stay to 1st gear used for climbing steep roads like Cloud9 antipolo dyan ko sya nagamit, during ascend and descend. S “2nd gear” i use this for LONG uphills/downhills this is keep your transmission stay at 2nd gear, to prevent shifting on high gear which will slow your ascend. For descend naman, it prevents the car also in shifting to high gear and make the car gain speed going downhill, if the car speeds up, tendency is you will try to control car speed using your brakes which could heat up due to consistent breaking. @@kayceepalacio7807 just a correction po about S in gear shifter. S stands for sports mode in which it can give you a little bump on pulling power and acceleration. S usually gets used when you want more power and acceleration to overtake the car infront of you or in my case I usually use this gear when I'm on expressway. Hope it helps
Medyo maninibago ako sa cvt transmission...im used to a traditional AT...our Jazz 1.5v 5 spd AT has Sports mode with a paddle shifter, i use it for uphill and downhill driving (engine braking) sa mountainous roads...meron din akong Chev Trailblazer na AT with manual mode (+/-) i use it for long drives...
