make a band to go around the card that slides off, to hold your card closed and you could use the lacy borders, it would look so pretty...just a thought.....your cards are all lovely....so much inspiration...and I love that they are longer so you have card size options
I thought of that, and it might have worked on the smaller card, but I was trying to show in the video that I just couldn't fold the heavy weight card stock flat enough, nothing held it together. Then I made one from the 80lb card stock, which I actually don't like to use because I think it's flimsy, and even that one popped up. Argh. I think I'm just gonna stick to my good old, simple, flat card bases hahaha!

I just mean, same old same old. I'm not a pioneer! :D I was very uncertain about the lace! I've been wanting to design some lace dies since I started my company but I just wasn't sure if anyone would like them because maybe they think it's an old fashioned look. I love real lace, I mean fabric, sooo much. I'm glad people love these dies, they are actually the best sellers from this release.
@@_apocketfullofhappiness I think you nailed it. I shouldn't say lace isn't my thing, I love lace, but I'm picky (clothes wise)...you know how some lace looks cheap? Yours doesn't look like cheap lace (I hope I'm making sense)...they really are beautiful, and the scalloped edge and having part hanging over. I makes for a beautiful card. I liked the strips too, it looks like ribbon and lace 😍❣
