My personal favorite is frost invasion, unique paths, good rewards, cool soundtracks, unique enemy looks and abilities. It was very fun for me, considering the Halloween update had been stuck for almost a year, it was a change of paste lol.
the christmas 2022 event wasn’t slow paced it was just hard due to the amounts of money. it’s uncommon to have weak bosses and low income for christmas so that’s why it wasn’t up to the common standard. id still say halloween 2020 is my favorite event ever, but i’m biased towards lord sinister. however i’ll definitely say solar eclipse solos halloween 2019.
In my opinion, frost invasion was probably one of my most favourited event out of all. I had the best experience with it because its so intense having such powerful boss with 6 players that you had to play multiple times in order to win since its so hard

My top 2 would be: 2: Duck hunt, Its very unique and also having some of the best skins in my opinion. The fact it doesn’t have a event tower makes it more of a chill event and i like that because events shouldn’t be a extremely difficult game mode thats boring but people play it for a reward. 1: Frost invasion: I don’t know if its from hype but i loved this event. It was difficult but not too difficult. Not as difficult as something like quickdraw or something but still harder then things like the fallen king, It was a challenge and although i just said event towers aren’t needed, The sledger tower is also really nice. bro i agree 2019 was a w event, shredder was like the best tower at some points and could outpreform many expensive towers, yes it was hard but truly fun. so was 2019 chrismas event, had santa skins like santa crook boss and minigunner etc but best of it all. the archer, it was incredibly op, 2nd main reason to do it and 1st reason for the main event tower.
FROST INVASION WAS SO FUN, I loved the paths, enemies, and map. They were all unique and different from the regular game. For me, it was kind of challenging for me as I only had minigunner as my dps during the time. The reward for the gamemode was really good and cost efficient for the time.
The worst event is the metaverse champions becuase you only got a badge, item and a basic crate with no event towers and was very eazy and the map was cyber city and the Boss was weak and the towers you had were op for the event so my rating for this event is 1/10
I think the main reason why people were mad with the Halloween 2020 event was due to how it lasted a long time with no new updates to the game. No Christmas event nor spring event. Just the same content for ages. Another point was due to how there were two parts, so you couldn't even get the toxic gunner until a couple of weeks/ a month later. Also the beta testing before Halloween sucked.

Where would you put the newest lunar overture event? Me personally, id give it a 7/10. First two acts were bloxy worthy, but the ending didn’t live up to the hype, and the difficulty was fluctuating between the devs buffing and nerfing acts. New event towers are cool, though in need of some tweaks.

my fav is solar eclipse. i just couldnt stop playing it while waiting for the nights to unlock. it was so much fun unless there wasnt really any good skins. and my second fav was the duck hunt event. the osts are just amazing as the solar eclipse's and the map system was so unique and fun to play. i also dont think nightmare carnival should be on top. it had a stolen ost, the skins are really the only thing you mentioned here and i dont think making an event extremelly hard makes it any better.

top 3 for me being nightmare carnival (halloween 19) solar eclipse then sfoth, i remember playing like my fifth game with freezer and soldier to my name, getting glad, then beating badlands with it because glad was and still is amazing, it did not care how many there were and still is one of the top starter towers in the game. I mean it being somewhat difficult is what makes it fun, you actually have to strategize and think about what towers you place and when you finally beat it usually feels very fulfilling. What makes an event fun is how well balanced it is. For example Act 3 was nearly impossible to beat because of how poorly it was balanced when it was first released. Act 2 was too easy because of how poorly it was balanced. I feel like Halloween 2019 was a good mix of difficult and balanced. I managed to beat the event with minigunner which is a intermediate tower but it was an extremely close call.

if this had lunar overture act 1 2 and 3 on release, 3 as it is now (separated due to varying quality), i think they would place at act 1 - 9/10 act 2 - 8/10 act 3 on release - -200/10 (last place times 200) act 3 currently - 6/10 act 1 is very beginner friendly, it has a cutscene, ND you can solo it. act 2 is still beginner friendly, but it doesn't have a cutscene. oh boy oh boy act 3 on release was WILD, first of all IT WAS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE. oh and thats about it act 3 currently is much more beginner friendly, but the bosses are STILL JUST LEFT AND RIGHT HANDS WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?!?!? oh and act 3 had the narrator suddenly become angry for no apparent reason, but the event tower was good i guess
In frost invasion you could use car glitch 3 people buy car upgrade to the upgrade before tank and everything slowed down more time to think btw the boss was hella fast
pretty top notch, as a victor of all the tds events, this list is pretty good, i would put solar eclipse lower tho and easter 2020 higher, easter 2020 was super fun so i think it shouldve been 3rd, but overall i agree with a lot of this list, AND I LOVED HALLOWEEN 2019, my favorite event as well.
"the gladiator was considered the worst tower in the entire-" infinite pierce. it has infinitely scaling dps depending on the amount of enemies there. it is one of the best aoe towers in the game probably only beaten out by jester or maxed pursuit. gladiator is just better like that fr

tbh xmas 2022/23 was very trashy, the event itself was so overhyped and overrated, the event tower too is extremely overrated aswell.
edit: sorry i think i started a fight so let me clear some things up on my opinion
Gameplay: the actual event was so trash, its not only “inspired” by the duck hunt but an actual copy, elite even proved it to be a copy of the dh
Tower: ok time to upgrade my elf camp to max so i can defend better. and guess what? the game says: nahhhh, wait over a minute instead. LIKE CMON the tower isnt even that good compared to other towers, ALSO PLZ STOP BRINGING IT TO PW2 ITS SO ANNOYING
Skins: tbh the skins are actually great i think they were really cool but tough to grind, my fav were mini and commander. skins are a w imo
Music: oh my god THEY ADDED THE 2 BEST LOBBY THEMES LES GO!!! 1 prob: they were, COPIED!! but i aint gonna complain phoqus makes bangers

@leonnove9477 event tower was good, wdym? Also people only hated the event because it used the same mechanics as duck hunt, which is very unvalid considering there's more to an event than that. Every event is special because of their theme and their enemies. Not like the devs were lazy, they specifically said all events from now on were a defend the circle, so what people are whining for was kind of dumb :/
Halloween 2020 was so fun for me along with frost invasion
I think violent noght has one of the best boss theme in all tds
if this had lunar overture act 1 2 and 3 on release, 3 as it is now (separated due to varying quality), i think they would place at
act 1 - 9/10
act 2 - 8/10
act 3 on release - -200/10 (last place times 200)
act 3 currently - 6/10
act 1 is very beginner friendly, it has a cutscene, ND you can solo it.
act 2 is still beginner friendly, but it doesn't have a cutscene.
oh boy oh boy act 3 on release was WILD, first of all IT WAS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE. oh and thats about it
act 3 currently is much more beginner friendly, but the bosses are STILL JUST LEFT AND RIGHT HANDS WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?!?!?
oh and act 3 had the narrator suddenly become angry for no apparent reason, but the event tower was good i guess

In frost invasion you could use car glitch 3 people buy car upgrade to the upgrade before tank and everything slowed down more time to think btw the boss was hella fast

I’m still butthurt because during the time of hallow 2019, I was using a really old device and every time the boss was about to die I would crash
pretty top notch, as a victor of all the tds events, this list is pretty good, i would put solar eclipse lower tho and easter 2020 higher, easter 2020 was super fun so i think it shouldve been 3rd, but overall i agree with a lot of this list, AND I LOVED HALLOWEEN 2019, my favorite event as well.
I agree that easter event 2020 should be higher it was rlly fast and the skins are rlly nice ngl
'The Frost Invasion was very easy" Man I tried over 100 times (I'm not joking) and still couldn't do it.
I didnt even realise that tds events had skins till frost invasiopn so I missed out on the most peak skins
Id rank halloween 2020 under frost invasion BECAUSE OF THE LOBBY MUSIC it was fine at first but IT TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE

halloween 2019 had such a cool cowboy skin because of its custom animation but now its gone 😢
Shredder used to be a viable tower before it became dogshit, It basically worse than all other 4(as of 2024) melee towers

"the gladiator was considered the worst tower in the entire-" infinite pierce. it has infinitely scaling dps depending on the amount of enemies there. it is one of the best aoe towers in the game probably only beaten out by jester or maxed pursuit. gladiator is just better like that fr
