Thanks for saving me $200 USD. One of the retailers gave up on this brand. The 12 year small batch is now $37 USD. I think one issue with the Macnair Lum Reek is their cartoon branding on the tin. A big retailer had another blend with a similar drawing on the tin but it was 1/2 the price. they were placed on within close proximity of each other on the shelf. Methinks when people saw them together they opted for the cheaper one or thought Lum Reek was over priced.
Plz can you tell me what is different between lumreek 21 vs lumreek 21(with a whire hair man face )???? I try to search the different but it is so difficult. I need your help whisky master!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm no marketing guru but Billy Walker needs to re-think the name. Reek is more commonly associated with 'bad' smells e.g. Toilets and drains. It should not be used with whisky!!

Could be one reason for the low sales
Both the 12 and 21 are available in SoCal for $67 and $200 respectively. Way overpriced..
very true - way overpriced
