Littlemill and Rosebank, two dead distilleries. Several years back I found two bottles of Connoisseurs Choice Rosebank 14 year old. They were dusty bottles and I grabbed them. That shop had some interesting bottles.
Well for context this a cult bottle in the most touristy area of Scotland and in the priciest of the tourist shops. A trifecta of mark up pricing. By comparison Springbank Local barley 9 sold for £90 at Scotch Whiskey Auctions last month. Yes other shops are much better. Maybe not for Local Barley
Looks like I missed this shop too on my visit to Edinburgh... i will need to get my ass back there again someday!
Ha well this one was pricey

Landrum45 oh nice find. Did you drink them?
No, I still have both of them.
And I thought single malts were getting pricey in the US! Wonder if non-tourist areas offer more reasonable prices?

I think Cadenheads and Royal Mile Whiskies are the only two shops in that street that will not screw you ;)
You might be correct Ebbhead
I'd love to spend time looking in all the whisky shops, however, if I had my wife in tow, she'd be whinging by the second one!
Meet you back here in 8 hours 😀
