I am new to this channel and instructor. He is the closest in teaching method to Spanish with Paul, who is widely regarded as one of the best Spanish teachers around. The pace, explanations, and practice segments of these lessons are PERFECT. Hopefully you continue to teach using this format. The subscribers will increase as will your $$. Thank you for this great lesson!

This program has helped us tremendously in our process of learning Spanish! SUCH a blessing! We bought the course and encourage EVERYONE to do the same! It's so simple but simplicity is what helps us at least, remember how to use the phrase correctly without being overloaded with grammatical terminology.

First off let me thank you on behalf of your first time viewers for making the lesson accessible to all. You cut out all the need for any gramer theory and just stuck to teaching patterns.
For your more advanced students you cut straight to the crux of what is the difference between the subjunctive and indicative moods. Subjunctive is for things that "might" take place?
Or well I am sure you have more advanced students than I, struggling with these concepts.
    Great job!

Hola! Me encantó demasiado su vídeo que usted ha explicado muy bien el uso de "a lo mejor " que mucha gente equivocándose piensa que tiene algo que ver con la palabra "mejor".
    Le doy muchisímas gracias!
    Un abrazo!

Thank you for skilfully setting up each lesson.👍I didn't know the nuance of A LO MEJOR + indicativo = might, to indicate a sudden thought. These are the subtelies that I need.🙂
    Unos ejemplos para practicar:
    1. A lo mejor no voy a caminar esta mañana porque llueve.🥺
    2. A lo mejor salgo al concierto de jazz esta tarde.🙂
    PUEDE QUE + subjuntivo
= might, for a known uncertainty.
    3. Puede que vaya al cine a las cinco. ¿Vienes conmigo?
    4. Puede que Manolo no salga porque todavía está cansado.😉

These videos are really great, a logical and easy way to learn Spanish! :) Just a small correction: at 12:33 you say "mas tarde" but in the text it says "esta noche".

1:22 has "I might go to Valencia." as "A lo mejor voy a Valencia." but my translator has "Podría ir a Valencia."

Interesting because dictionaries give Podría + Full Verb to mean Might but also Puede que + Subj translates as May as in I May do something...Such subtle differences.

They are both interchangeable. If it helps, I use quizas for maybe. And tal ves as possibly. But honestly, as far as the average spanish speaker is concerned, they mean the same thing. You can just pretty much use them as you wish.

I was thinking the same thing but I do hear people using ‘A lo mejor’ a lot so perhaps it is the more common way of saying it. After all, in English I’d use ‘might’ more naturally then I’d say ‘it’s possible that’
