- After throwing away his second wife, Azar, Ruhollah started living with his first wife Zahra in the mountains. Zahra along with her two young children Asna and Ismail found themselves in a difficult situation in a mountain cave. The rainy and snowy weather only added to the problems they were already facing.
Mehin, Ruhollah's mother, was very upset about this situation and decided to travel to the mountains to bring back Zahra and the children. This compassionate and loving action of his met with different feelings of Ruhollah, who was afraid for Zahra's safety at home because of the behavior he had with his second wife.
After returning, the tension between Zahra and Azar, Ruhollah's first wife, increased. Azar's jealousy and hatred towards Zahra only added to the darkness of the relationship between the two women. As he tries to navigate the complex dynamic between his first and second wife, Ruhollah finds himself torn between his past actions and his desire for reconciliation.
The presence of Zahra, who was sick and had lost her memory, added additional complexity to the situation. Ruhollah was faced with the challenge of balancing the needs of his two families while trying to make up for his past mistakes.
In the midst of these tensions and challenges, Ruhollah had to confront his shortcomings and take responsibility for his actions. Ruhollah needs patience, empathy and willingness to communicate openly and honestly in order to repair the broken relationships in his family and find a way to move forward together.

This fighting has got to stop. It is setting a terrible example for the children and it doesn't do any good. You are all going round and round with no real discussion to resolve the problem brought on by Ruhollah and by his mother. His mother is playing both ends against the middle and what does she get out of it? Where is her husband, is she married? What kind of life is she living through her son? Why can't she just go home where ever that is? If she stayed away from Azar they would all be better off. She is complicit in some of the trouble from her own words when she told Azar that she had asked Azar to hide Zahra after Azar did something to her. It looks to me like the laws of Iran are lacking some teeth regarding marriage. They should all be charged with crime and Ruhollah, Azar, and his mother should all go to jail at least long enough to cool off. Azar is willing to harm Zahra, she has proven that. That should be enough to kick her out except for the foolish Ruhollah giving Zahra's house to Azar. Man, what a mess! Ruhollah needs to find a way to make himself independent. He needs a job, an apartment if there is such a thing, and take the wife he really wants and get out or the situation will not change and the fighting will go on and on. Ridiculous!
