People hated the end because they think Eren crying for the love of Mikasa and everyone thank him whiles hes a genocide is wrong. I dont think they understood the message that the genocides were everyone as Armin says and that Eren crying showed that the he a victim, the slave of freedom, with a power that grants you to do whatever you want he couldnt do what he wanted and it was to live a happy life with her.
Im glad you guys appreciated the ending. If you guys ever revisit it, you'll start noticing more and start understanding the complexity and nuance even more. It's a really beautiful and potent story. From life, love, and war to determinism, finding meaning/purpose, psychological motive, and relationships.

After all these years I now get it. Eren controlled the colossals via Zeke's Royal blood for the rumbling, which stopped as soon as Zeke got taken out. Holy Sh*t!! So via the giant hallucigena(the worm thing) from Eren's spine, he released spinal gas to effect all Eldians in proximity who inhaled it into titans.. And now I understand why it didn't affect the titan shifters, bcos they were not transformed by him. Also Eren discovered through time in the paths that whether or not he tried to change events, some fates were inevitable: like The early death of his mom , so he had to let Dina Titan eat his mom while Berthold stays alive for his power to be weilded by Armin, hence save Armin's life in future. NUTS!! right?😅
Ooohhh! I love having reached the end with you again and I love seeing that you loved the ending. What can I say to you that you haven't felt during this last hour and a half. It's a story that the author made sure would mark us forever. To those of us who shared the ending as he wrote it, we have it clear, he made a beautiful work of art. Final development and closure of TOP characters to the point of taking them to the next level and paying tribute to them with this ending, TOP closure of the story, with different symbolic messages and with a meaning totally in line with what we have been shown from the beginning. Brutal work by the voice actors, printing every emotion, every feeling at all times, animation and action at the ideal cooking point, unexpected twists and a soundtrack enveloping everything and making this work really excite you, go through your heart and touch you directly to the soul. It was a pleasure to have enjoyed this trip with you again, obviously I cried like a baby while I was re-watching it haha. Isayama is a great guy and SNK MasterPiece. 1:05:05 Not sure if you've been told this already, but ackermans are pretty much titans in human form. The ackerman clan was specifically designed to protect the king (which the show told you) but never expanded on the fact that they were pretty much an experiment trying making the most elite human possible using titan fluids, but not making an actual titan. Thats why ackermans are so absurdly strong, they've got "titan skin" and "titan powers" but in a human body, a literal superhuman. (Like when hange was patching up levi in the forest and said "you ackermans are literally built different") When Eren died and ALL titan powers were removed, that means ackermans too. Imagine the pain that you would feel receiving crazy injuries that a regular human wouldnt survive, then losing your superhuman abilites while still injured LMAO. Levi was probably screwed for the rest of his life tbh
When you end first round now it's time for you to check some scenes when Adult Eren appear in SS1 such as SS1Ep2 has Eren in the BG. And let's try reaction for all OST from this show.

the purpose of life is to live and breed. you want mikasa to be lonely forever with no kids? that's pretty selfish. if you truly love someone you would want them to be happy and cared for when you are gone. it's not like she's cheating on him, bro is dead.
Eren's feelings is hope that she finds happiness and even wants her to throw the scarf away in the hopes that she moves on. Granted he is human too so he has his selfish request that she pine for him for at least 10 years. However, in the end Eren knows that if Mikasa never moves on then he is essentially keeping her in a cage for the rest of her life and if you understand Eren's character at all you'd know that is not something he'd want for her.

Attack on Titan : The Last Attack will give you better ending. We just need to wait it out for other country since it's already aired in Japan.
In the end, Mikasa killed eren and she kissed Eren's decapitated head. Because eren did mass m*rd*r with wall titans.
