I recognized how expensive Starbucks was, so every time I wanted to go get a coffee, I would put that money in a savings account and not go get one. Eventually I had enough money to buy an espresso machine, I did that and have been spending $0.30 on coffee daily instead of $6/day. Yesterday I went to Starbucks to see how close I was to their flavors (I’m trying to learn to make Quality lattes and such) and I was disgusted. Starbucks doesn’t even taste good compared to my home made stuff 😂. Thank you Graham for your amazing knowledge

I just gotta say my sister regularly tells me I do the most just to save a buck however this year alone I've managed to become debt free, raise my credit score past 750, and have now been contributing the maximum to my 401k; family has recently been asking me how I learned this and to show them how I did it and now I'm just telling them to take the initiative.
I can vouch for the advice about not taking risks. I played it mostly safe in my 20's, but I put a lot of things off and I didn't take the risks that I should have. When I exited my 20's I was broke, obese, and had never been in a relationship. But things started to turn around for me in my early 30's. I got a lucky break, and then fought my way back from the abyss. I'm now one year away from being financially independent. I've lost over 100 pounds and am in the best shape of my life. I have a goal of being able to do 100 pushups by the end of the year. I'm still single, but I've been on a couple of dates and it feels like it's not impossible to meet someone. I wish I had heard this advice when I was 20. Things would have been very different for me. On the other hand, the experience from all those mistakes has made me the person I am today.
Great tips Graham! Another habit I would add would be to READ and implement the strategies from your learnings. I've found that to be amazingly helpful in my life.

As soon as I turned 18 I got a credit card, my credit score is now 740+ a year later and this is all because I started watching this channel when I was 17. My only problem is I took out student loans because I was not able to live at home and go to school and the school I go to has given me really great opportunities so I do see it as an investment and yes, not the smartest financial idea but I am majoring in Computer Science and should pay it off within one or two years post-graduation. *I wish I knew in my 20s that life did not have to be like this; work, get salary, spend money, repeat.*
completely agree with you!
@@JazminBautista Hopefully it is not too late to yet. =)
We need a class in high school called “Graham Stephan’s - How to smash the like button & make iced coffee”

@@AntwanAhmed you'll be surprised how many people die or have serious health conditions in their 30s or 40s. I would instead recommend to play it safe, get into the best college you can, get the best job you can, save money, retire early and enjoy your life.
Human Being my risk is buying real estate at 23 lol
Great tip!
@@GrahamStephan Thanks Graham!
Great channel! Keep working hard I’m sure you’ll take off! Just subbed :)

Graham, these videos that save us youngsters time are the most valuable videos you put out. Time is money and you’re essentially making us money with this information 🔥
The “But Graham...” sections of his videos have become my favorite. It always makes me laugh

I just turned 18, this video is definitely a wake up call & I trust exactly what you’re saying. I’ve already started to realize a few of these things, and I know I have more realizations coming in my near future.

Very true!

I was 3 years behind when I started :|
I am currently doing many of these habits in my early 20’s. You HAVE to take control of your own life and it’s up to you to become great! Awesome tips!
nice...try to buy a small property...I bought my first property at 19...
@@MalluStyleMultiMedia My mentor actually suggested buying a pretty big property as my first investment, since that one will be the first income I will have from rentals
Nick Frankich ok, cool. Whatever works out for you..bigger means bigger problems usually ..if you never owned any properties before, it’s probably better to start small... anyways, do whatever is comfortable for you .. just don’t stop ...keep going ..
How much should be a capital for first rental?

I wish my dad taught me about investing at 21! You're doing your daughter a great service by sending a life lesson her way!
#5 was so on point. And the fact that you admitted it is why you have almost 2.5 million subscribers. Thanks for the “But Graham’s” too.

I’m currently working in a call center and I’m terrified of getting a call with a yelling customer or that I won’t be able to do something that is being asked of me. I keep dreading going to work bc of that and I just realized my fear is keeping me from earning more money because overtime is worth almost twice my hourly rate. Thank you for making this video, it made me realize I do need to just do things and leave fear behind.

Graham I think it is a sign that I watched this video last night. There was an opportunity today that I might’ve passed up if I hadn’t heard you talking about trying and reaching out for opportunities. P.S I have an interview now on Friday. Thank you!
I really do feel like I'm at a crossroads in my life with no clue what to do.
Same Bro. Same
As soon as I turned 18 I got a credit card, my credit score is now 740+ a year later and this is all because I started watching this channel when I was 17. My only problem is I took out student loans because I was not able to live at home and go to school and the school I go to has given me really great opportunities so I do see it as an investment and yes, not the smartest financial idea but I am majoring in Computer Science and should pay it off within one or two years post-graduation. The loans are also really low in interest rates.
"Spend your time working towards something and not...away from something." I am well beyond my 20s, but dude, you just changed my life.
It's crazy how just being cheap, saving, and investing will snowball a few years later and you'll wake up and have 5 properties.

Basically just make sure you have read Rich Dad Poor Dad by the time you’re 16 years old 👍
Best advice I've ever heard. Wish I heard this sooner when I was so depressed about graduating and not securing a graduate job straight away. 1 year later im still in the same position but I have a differnt mindset. I'm going to start that youtube channel I've always wanted to and start that business along side it as of today. All while still job hunting because what do I have to lose? I'm in such a better mental state now!!!
Graham changed my LIFE! Because of HIM, I started sharing my Ecommerce and finance journey and would love any support/feedback I can get! Cheers and wishing you all the best!

Can you make a video for those of us who are in our 30s and would like to start now?
Oh that's nice
Mr Sam Justin is obviously the best,
I invested $7,000 and he made profit of $53,000 for me just in 7days
It's not about watching videos and wasting your time on strategies,
He is success story in everywhere
It’s how you asked us so politely to like the video, it was so cute. Thank you for this advice!
Going to post my homemade iced coffee in front of my TESLA stock 😂
