The lid does not snap on it only sits on the top. This is to prevent dust or particles from getting into the coffee while it is brewing and it’s 8 to 12 hour cycle.
It depends on the grind of your coffee. If you use espresso grind, meaning the smallest possible grind, then it may be small enough to fit through the filter. I recommend a coarse ground coffee which means roughly chopped. You can order it to be coarse ground. Or if you are doing it yourself then grind it with minimal time.
Have a nice day, great work!! I'd like you to try something I'll tell you to do to another video, the other half filter to fill it with ice cubes and pour the very ice water, Slowly.❤
Thanks for the demo.
Ps i LOVE your Starbucks mug collection!
I always learn something new in your videos. Greetings from Brazil
Janio Safra Thank you for watching!
After the cold brew the coffee can be heated for those who prefer hot coffee without the bitterness 😊
Maureen R Yes, thank you for your comment!
Is it just my Tupperware carafe but the lid does not snap on?

Great suggestion! I will add that to my upcoming videos.
Thank you for your video. It's very helpful and easy. Can you help with how to make tea with the carafe?
Can you use a tea bag?
Good idea, I would recommend loose leaf tea, but tea bags would also work. I will make a video
@@jenniferdominguez4326 you can use my tea bag
Where did you find those racks for your Starbucks mugs?
I got them from Amazon. They work perfect!
Is that a Tupperware coffee canister? Do they still have them?
Yes I just received mine today. Getting ready to order their cold coffee mix.
They don’t have the actual coffee canisters at this time but sometimes comes back as a special offer
Linda Carpenter-Boone it is a summer product. Just got mine delivered last week Aug 14, 2020.
