FYI The Business class on Korean air can be staggered seating if you fly on the 747-8, 787 or 777 aircraft. Just need to check plane type before booking. Otherwise I normally find their food excellent.

Hi Mikey I am very interested in airlines and have flown many business classes and first classes. When you said that the seat is awful, I found that really tough as many A380 have that type of seatings and then there 2 engine business classes are amazing. I have been watching you for a few years now and love your content. I am from Australia and have flown qantas business and first class about 100 times and would love you to try them out. If you want the seat not to be like what you just tried on Korean. I recommend not to try the A380 or 747 business class, as it is fairly similar. But the A330 and the 787, is top notch. The first class is really good and sometimes there is a great sale. And with the Australia dollar so bad it will be extremely cheap for you. Keep up the great content.

Should've taken the other Korean flight from JFK on the 747-8 that departs around 1AM! That one has the same seats as you had on JAL's business class with direct aisle access.
not always though. I flew few times from JFK at 12:50am and about 60% of time it was A380-800 :(
Usually it would be A380 cuz I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and I usually see that A380 fly over the city in the sky in afternoon
Mr, Chen, yeah welcome to Korea when you aren’t “Korean enough”. It is a terrible thing, but it happens the world round, and not just in Korea. The “look of Korean disappointment” is universal.
You can google why this occurs rather than me explaining it, but it happens a lot.
I went to South Korea and I am 100% Korean. Born there, but not raised, and when the customs guy realized I couldn’t speak Hungal, the look of disappointment was epic. I got a very monotone “Welcome to South Korea”.
So anyways, there ya go.
Yeah the stories I’ve heard of how Japan is to anyone that doesn’t speak Japanese very well gets to me.
Like I feel so bad for RUclipsrs like CDawgVA who try to make good content in Japan but are barred from a lot of stuff because they don’t look Japanese or even Asian thus resulting in them getting one of their Japanese friends to do the talking so they can be able to make the video they want to make.
Heck Joey the Anime Man is half Japanese and he’s admitted on the Trash Taste podcast that he’s almost gotten denied by certain stores and companies on videos he wants to make and that the only reason why he wasn’t was cause he could speak fluent Japanese. The minute he started talking in Japanese the tunes of those he talked to quickly changed from hostile to super friendly.
Yeah Japan, you’re clearly not xenophobic and bias to foreigners.
This stuff is why I’ll never move to Japan. I get enough crap over how I am by those in my own country of America (on and off the net too) despite being born and raised here. I don’t want to deal with that and more just because I can’t perfectly speak another language. No thank you.

Business class seats vary by plane and not the same across the airline. Should mention which plane you were seated on. The newer 787-8 has business class seats without obstacles for the window seat.

I notice that most foreign hotels offer robes and slippers but hotels in America doesn’t offer that unless you stay at a very high end hotel, like Ritz or St. Regis for example. I’ve stayed at many Marriott in America and none of that is offer.
pls come back to singapore.. the last time you came here you missed a very important hotspot for many locals here. it is the FengShan hawker centre. and it is the only hawker center that is super crowded at night . it is know for his bak chor mee( minced pork noodles) its different from those you have tried in the other places of singapore and many many other local bbq dishes and local food to explore ( do go there at night only because it like a nocturnal hawker centre where all the delicious food stallls open) !! luv ur vids Look foward to more food vlogs
Im actually going to take this spot as the Business class bc my Grandma just passed away, and the safest way to be in the plane is to get an upgraded seat so its less likely to get either the covid19.

It's funny how people mistaken you for being Korean. When I use to travel, people would come up to me to strike up a conversation in Tagalog...I can barely speak Camtonese as it is being Chinese.

I've flown Korean Air Business class 3 times and the menu was exactly the same, as was the food. Service was amazing every time :)
Hey Mike you should try the Curly Fries from Arbies with Cheddar Cheese Sauce.
Air China's 777-300 Business Class is also arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration. However, it's a lie flat bed at every seat.

Try the new seats on 747-8 & some 777-300ER. Much better.
