how come when i ask in trinidad facebook groups about tt musicians, nobody could name more than a few horns players or one or two rhythm guitarists? they don't know any drummers, bassists, keyboardists, guitarists or anything. they don't know the artists who create the art. all they know is the name of the person who exhorts them to jump, win', fete and/or wave. no wonder tt popular music has been so bad the last several decades. we have to fix that, have to bring art and skill like this back to the people.
