Your videos are awesome. Your city at night is fantastic. The city skyline at night is beautiful. I will never get to see your city but do so enjoy your night and day videos. Thanks for sharing with us. God bless you on your driving and travels.
The excellent work continues! Spooky turning right at Spring St: 48's used to continue down Flinders St. As for anything West of Spencer St, pure fantasy, but then I haven't lived in Melb for decades... Many thanks B-)
Thanks for sharing! Really enjoyed this one. I'm moving to Melbourne next year from Virginia in the US and have been researching and scouting out neighborhoods. The Richmond area reminds me a lot of the Paddington area of London.
+AndreiTupolev It's pretty impressive as you roll down the hill along Wellington Parade towards the city. The view during the day is pretty good as well.

good night filming I managed to watch most of it.thanksI can going to blackpool, england the saturday after next to film there trams, they are going to run the old trams as fear as star gate.
Thanks for the comment,I had to laugh when you said seeing some of the video, well the thing I do not have a lap top so i viewed your video in the local library in bridgwater they give you anhours worth of free time, and i had had other things to see etc.I last went to blackpool back in march the weather was poor but managed to do some filming and put it in to four so called vlogs,so you can see some of the footage, enjoy
+DaneShady It's called a hook turn and pretty unique to Melbourne and the CBD. It works really well. The idea Of The hook turn is to still allow cars to turn right without blocking tram tracks. If cars did a turn from the middle of the road, trams would be blocked continuously.
Yeah, I Imagined that it was for not blocking the tram. But it still is strange :) The cars who are turning, they have to wait for thraffic to clear I imagine. But I feel like it is really unsafe cause there can be a car coming from behind and which can be in your blind spot when you turn.
It never used to be like that. It's really changed over the last few years with the CBD becoming a destination for people to visit. The large number of apartments are a contributing factor as well.
Well, that was my first night view of Melbourne below Spencer Street. The whole program was terrific. Thanks.
Thanks for taking a ride 😀😀

Nice video! It's good to see that you are a dedicated enough driver to announce each stop. Also, are the sidings at 1:10 ever used?
+Lewis Levy Simpson St is used during MCG events to stable trams during the game.
That right turning from the left lane sure is weird. Why do you guys have it like that?

If you watch it being done, it seems to work smoothly.
I like how the centre is "alive" at night compared to Brisbane.

Schony747 i think thats fantastic!
+Alexander Evans 1130pm on the weekend and I'm carrying 150 people towards the casino and St Kilda beach!

Schony747 oh wow! When will this happen to Brisbane? haha
do trams still have right of way over motor vehicles?
Yes in most cases. Whether it's enforced or not, that's a different story.
Can you please do a Restaurant Tram one, or is that not possible?
+Lewis Levy I don't drive restaurant but I can video it.
