Both the 5600XT and 5700XT mine more than the 6600XT at same or greater efficiency hence my choice being the UK with silly power prices. Really limits card choice :(.

That hash per watt, be better off buying R9 390's then bios modding them individually. I'm selling R9 390's for more efficient cards. These new cards are terrible, RX5600XT dual mining seems the best value currently. Decent efficiency and sub £400 in the UK. Around 38 MH/s and 600+ on TonCoin.

Modded bios you should hit near 30 MH/s.
Just bought an rx480 8gb for $200. Hashes at 28M/h for me on ETH with stock bios. Haven't tested it on other coins yet but I plan on testing it soon! If you know where to look you can find decent used cards for the right price!
Evidently the 3050 was not a very popular card, awhile back I purchased 2x B stock units from EVGA really because they were cheaper and to have them around as spares for the 1660s, I also purchased 5x of those cards from them and every single one I had to RMA, they all failed one by one, evidently they had run a bad batch of cards as they had sequential serial numbers. I purchased 2x of the exact same cards from Newegg several months prior with no issues. The 3050's to me have been great, I mean yeah they don't get great hashrates but they also use less power. I currently switched back to Neoxa and with the 3050 I'm getting 12.98 hash, 104w... I have a 1660s in another system that gets 13.47 hash, 125w... so it's only about .5 less hash but also 21 watts of power saved, also the 3050 is an 8gb card vs 6gb so in theory will be able to mine a bit longer. I'm not sure about the clock settings, anymore I just use MSI Afterburner and just adjust the power slider to get it to run at the temps I want, the 3050 I never could get stable overclocks but this way works.
At a first glance it's almost as though the 1060 6g cards are more profitable. Considering that it seams the rx580 8gb cars are more profitable than that and I've been seeing those for around 250 bucks used at least in my area.

The people selling 3050's are scalpers. A pro crypto miner will do their math for profit and the return is not worth the time and cost to get the 3050, which leads to only one reason why they are out of stock and over valued. Scalpers.

The gaming performance on the rtx 3050 is the same as the rtx a2000 yet the difference in hashrate is huge

You can buy them at retailers for $480-540 CAD, so not a great deal unless you need a GPU to game imo. Still beats paying scalpers though.

Honestly, that's legit not horrible- sure there's better options... but if you need to fill a gpu slot they are 329.99 at micro center
