In this week’s video, I’m taking you guys along with me for another market day! This is a two day market at Spring at the Round Barn hosted by Vintage & Made Market located in Lancaster, Ohio. This is my second year of being a vendor at this location/market. I have a double booth (10x20) and this is my first double booth of the year. I decided to freshen up my booth this year and change my layout around. As some of you know, I purchased a van recently so my booth is way more full versus last year when I was a vendor with this market. I brought a fun mix of products with me- dishwasher safe drinkware, embroidered clothing, boutique clothing (dresses, jumpsuits, sweaters, tops) and fun giftable items. As always, I share what products sold the best during the market towards the end of the video. I really hope you guys enjoy watching! I had a blast taking you guys along with me for the weekends and experiencing a busy solo market weekend with me! :)

About the Brand:
I launched EPC in the corner of my college bedroom in 2020 while being a full time college student. After I graduated, we decided to move to the city and I continued to grow my business full time in our tiny one bedroom apartment. In 2023, we officially moved into a 5,000 sq ft warehouse to continue to grow + expand! While EPC is primarily online we also vend at many pop up markets in Columbus, Ohio.
Here are a few fun facts about me ☺
✿ I graduated college in 2021 from Ohio University with a Bachelors in Community & Public Health.
✿ I'm a cat mom to 3- a calico named Ivy, a tortoise named Puff & another calico named opal
✿ I love reading mystery/thriller books & I'm a true crime junkie

Ya know, I have lived in Lancaster my entire life, have never been since they started, however I love driving by the round barn seasons at the FCF grounds. Going in....sounds fantastic, having my own booth...intimidating, going as a buyer.....NOPE!!! (I would spend too much money)
omg you should totally visit as a shopper for the fall market in September!! 🎃 very rarely do I get to be a shopper at markets but when I do I always take out cash & only spend what I bring (my hack for not over spending haha). Hope to see you there!! 🥰

I love watching your videos! You totally gave me the inspiration I needed to sign up for markets and I have my first one this weekend! Also I think it’s hilarious that I watch all RUclips videos at 1.5 speed but I have to slow yours down to normal 😂
YAY! Good luck you got this!! They’re so much fun ( a lot of work but fun) 🥰 I had no idea you could speed up the watch time 😱 when I edit I speed up the video when I’m setting up & during the time lapse of my booth. Do you like this or should I slow it down for future videos?
@@emilypaigecompanyspeeding up your setup time is fine! I just noticed you talk slightly faster than other RUclipsrs I watch but I don’t think it matters that much because I don’t think everyone watches at 1.5 speed 😂
@@mcdonuts2017 that’s actually so funny 🤣 I’m so used to filming short form content and having to talk fast to get everything in the video. & when I get excited it def talk fast 😂😂
Your booth and video is lovely. If I may make a suggestion: your focus is really embroidery, but when a customer walks to your booth, the embroidery is not visible on the sweatshirts, etc. Maybe next year you should think about how you display your embroidery especially, for maximum visibility. Thank you so much!! This specific market was different & isn’t how I normally have my layout. It was kind of a weird space at the venue but I’ll be there back in the fall and definitely will have a different layout! Checkout my other videos for my “regular” layout!! :)

Setup looks great but it would give me so much anxiety…when you are in the back checking people out with this setup how did you see what was going on in the front to prevent potential shoplifters? I would personally want to be able to see my entire inventory rather than having it blocked off this way.
Unfortunately, if someone steals from me at events there’s almost nothing I can do it’s just kinda something that potentially happens if you sell in person like this.

Is there a reason you store the cups and lids separately, is it just a better space saver? Also how do you get around having swift merch? I didn't get a close look at the tote bag to see if it's funny spelling or something. Love love those dresses, happy to see other colors, might have to get one!
The top of the boxes don’t close if the lids are on the cups! We try to keep everything organized and just easier to restock :) I just have a few swifty totes I embroidered that I wanted to test out!

Thank you! I use Shopify for my website & markets so it keeps everything in one place. I barcode every single product so I know how many I sold & how much I have left in inventory!
@@emilypaigecompany I also have shopify but use my square reader at pop-up events. Is this what you're referring to?

When you record during the market, do you use your phone? Also where do you put your camera to get that great angle!.?
I actually use my phone to record everything I don’t have a fancy camera! At markets, I have a separate device that’s my card reader. I just use my hotspot off my phone for it. I loved recording at this angle I just put my tripod up on top of my totes 😄
