I agree with you about the magnitude of Pavarotti's gift, though I can't agree that this video shows him at his peak. Wear and tear is evident in his voice, and it lacks the freshness and bloom it had 10-15 years earlier. Not to take anything away from him--he was one of the best, and even the remains of his voice are worth listening to here.
