James Gunns Superman is one of the movies I'm looking forward to in 2025 (and The Fantastic Four)! And on Jan 3rd I will watch Nosferatu(Jan 3rd is the release date in Sweden)!
Lame. All sequels, prequels, remakes and garbage. Superman is the ONLY thing that gives me hope. I'll stick to my backlog of older films and hopefully some indie or under the radar titles will come my way.
Probably a wise decision. I have over 2,500 BR/DVD and do that for the most part. But I'm gonna try and hit the movies more this year and support the local cinema.
@@denroy3 Most Plot themes and stories are rehashed and re-used throughout Human history. Nothing really new is ever created in fiction. Just the Names, Times and Places change. If it's not Superman it's Hodo, King Arthur, the Count of Monte Cristo, or Luke Skywalker being the Hero on their Journey.
I'm not looking forward to any of them. What the hell is wrong with me. I'm either too old to care about any of these movies or they're just not that interesting. 😭
It"s not just you, Hollywood is creatively bankrupt woke zombie at this point. I havent been to the theaters in 3 years also, and i use to go every month.
The only Hollywood-related media I'm looking forward to is more Film Threat. There isn't a single 2025 movie I'm going to see in a theater. I actually didn't go to a theater at all in 2024 and only went once in 2023 to see John Wick 4. Hollywood has nothing to offer me.
If they can really keep The Running Man as close to the book as possible that's one film i can look forward to, Tron not being set on the grid could be interesting but only time will tell. The only other film on this list i have any interest in is 28 Years Later i just hope they don't mess it up.
If someone wants to make a quick quarter billion, make the Brett Cooper Snow White movie happen. It's OK to have an old fashioned look, kinda low budget.
Chris, is it possible that when you're previewing new movies, you don't scroll through the list as top speed, giving your opinions and totally ignoring, in fact talking over, the comments of other people? It's like you're scrolling through your phone and mumbling to yourself on the toilet.
It will be glorious when Snow White comes out. The RUclipsrs will have so much fun mocking the movie. I used to go the the theaters two or sometimes four times a Month ! Back in the 80s ,90s and early 2000.'s. Now, I did not go to a single movie theater in 2024. It makes me feel sad.
Lord...if you guys are any indication it's no wonder we get the aame unimaginative garbage on repeat cycle. The problem with it all is the movie industry os now geared to 12 year olds...of all ages.
This video would have been so much more interesting if you didn't scroll through so quickly, and actually at least looked at who the cast was in some of these. You scrolled past some pretty big names and just said "no idea." So I stopped watching your video and will just look at the article myself. Film Threat could really do a better job sometimes.
Looking forward to Better Man Novocaine Cap 4/Snow White (because of you guys and your friends, it's going to be hilarious) Minecraft (for the memes) Mickey 17 Elio 28 Years Later M3GAN 2.0 Superman The Bad Guys 2 Wicked: For Good Zootopia 2 Some really odd tentpole choices next year that are going to bomb but some cool, new ones and good sequels thrown in.

Merry Christmas to all !
That line-up of movies sounds like I will be watching old movies all year.
New PTA and new Edgar Wright in the same year. Come out of your cave.
Stop being a hipster
I’m actually really looking forward to the next Mission impossible movie. But I love those movies.
The best action of any movies ever basically. Tom Cruise is incredible.
No one does action better than Tom Cruise.
The list was scrolled through so fast, barely anyone had time to see all the titles, much less be able to talk about them much.
They mainly stopped on the sequels and remakes.
There really is no effort to raise the profile of the original movies everyone talks about.
Yea, I couldn't follow what the were talking about. Chris was like and this one and this one....
Hopefully, the newest Mission Impossible will be shorter than Dead Reckoning. That movie just seemed to go on forever.
People complain about sequels, reboots, and remakes ... and then we collectively rush out to see sequels, reboots and remakes. The blame is on us...
not all of us. I haven't seen a move since MI:7 and won't until MI:72
Easily on us. A lot of this list is original, but what do people see? Remakes, sequels, and reboots.

I can't wait for that Mission Impossible.
Okay, THAT one I might see, but will probably wait for streaming.
@@StratumPress I barely go to theaters anymore but the action sequences for Mission Impossible deserve a big screen showing
American cinema in 2025: Uninspired, unimportant, and uninteresting. RIP American cinema.
I'm just using the year change to make a resolution of which older movies I'm going to continue watching.

Tv series have generally eclipsed movies imo

If Running Man could follow the book more closely than the 80s movie, it could definitely be worth the remake.

They don't make great movies anymore even when they try on occasion usually a big cast and it's forgettable
Why was Chris rushing through the list so damn fast?!
mission impossible 8 will be the best
2025 looks like a great movie year, finally.
MI:the final reckoning, Superman, Tron:Ares, and many more.
I am not interested in any of those movies. Where are the dramas and comedies?
I'll just watch old movies
So mostly sequels and remakes. This is the least surprising list of movies for 2025.
Is there any way 2025 can be a worse year for movies than 2024?
2024 has been a good year for movies. Distribution is what has been the problem. Lots of good movies came out this year.
I’ll pass on 75% of these easily.
“Wolfman”-The Wolfman Jack biopic we have been waiting for. 😉

The Final Reckoning/F1/Tron: Ares, these are the films that I have HYPE for~
If they do shot for shot. Then pointless like the lion king movies. Got it.
The only 2025 movie anyone’s hyped for right now is 28 years later
Calling How to Train Your Dragon "live action" is hilarious. It will be CGI...nothing "live" about it.
If they can really keep The Running Man as close to the book as possible that's one film i can look forward to, Tron not being set on the grid could be interesting but only time will tell.

Good move putting Mission Impossible in the thumbnail. Got me to click.
The only movies on this list I´m looking forward to are Mission Impossible - Final Reckoning and Avatar 3.
If the HTTYD live-action film is shot for shot then what is the point?!
They get to much caught up on race.
Just for fun, each time one of those remakes comes out I'm thinking of watching the original movie instead.
Will not watch anything with Pedro Pee….
Can’t wait for Superman.
Why do we hate Mark Hamill but like Pedro Pascal? Aren't they the same person?
Was Avatar 3 even mentioned on here or did i miss it?😮
MI: Final Reckoning will definitely be on my list.
Yay! Herbie!😂😂😂
2025 is already better than 2024 and 2023

Snow white, with black hair and skin as white as snow... starring Rachel Zegler?
Less promising than this year at the 8ntial evaluation.
But I can be convinced otherwise.

28 Years Later
