I truly believe Jada is one of the rare singers whose voice is so ethereal, it floats. Rarely do I hear a vocal so delicate and fragile, it seems to want to float away and leave this mortal coil of its own volition. But underneath the delicacy is a tense, steely strength, flinty, determined. The vocals are delicate while the lyrics and musical underpinnings are so ugly, raw, messy, uncomfortable. This juxtaposition of the delicate with the ugly is what makes the song work. And it's a winner.

Jada is fortunate enough to have a professional background and is able to perform in professionally made and produced videos. Nevertheless you don't get to be a professional unless you have talent and she has that in spades. Absolutely perfect voice control and her choice of songs always suits her. Although most of what she does are covers she has the ability to invariably do them better than the originals. Anyone who is this wonderful at nineteen years of age obviously is very special but what is remarkable is that she has been doing this for at least five years.
