- Doctors Symphonic Band (DSB) 15th Annual Concert
15th annual concert of Doctors Symphonic Band in members of medical and dental doctors in Busan & KyungNam Korea
I’m in a school band and this is my third year playing French horn and we’re playing this song but ours is much more basic, listening to this makes me excited for our concert!
Its so encouraging to hear that middle section played slower; too many take it just as fast as the first section which leaves a lot of the expression out of the piece. I also like how they make the ending dramatic with the reduction in tempo at the end. Well played! I believe the video does not do the performance justice. I wish I could have seen this live!
I completely agree about the middle section
Wow that was well written and very true Geoff
I first heard this song in 1995 and our conductor took the middle section a little slower then this guy. I have always loved this song. I played the snare part my freshman year in college.
I played the tympani part in high school and we went to state. Just a great concert song. @@jonathant3425
such a beautiful recording
So wonderful work. You did excellent!!!
were gonna play that at my 8th and 9th grade concert im in wind symphony
Great Job Doc!
Yes baritone solo
Excellent performance, but I am puzzled by hearing mallet parts (bells, xylophone, chimes?) but not seeing ANY of those instruments on the stage??? Were they being played off stage? Or down in a pit? Or added to the recording later??
Very encouraging to see professionals with music as their avocation :)
i’m in 8th grade and our band is playing this
Anyone know what exploded at the 2:50 mark?
I was listening to it silently in bed and was suddenly jump scared.
6th graders playing this, its gonna be a disaster
Missing Chimes, Orchestra bells and Xylophone!
Agree. This is percussion song. Gotta have the glockenspil, too.
4:58 they rest too long in the transitions. there shouldn't be any gap.
Ewww You’re right
You ARE right!
That was rough..... intonation... considering the near perfection bands from this area can achieve...
Yeah, I mean they should be practicing with a tuner instead of seeing patients during the day. Maybe then they'd be as good as the bands that rehearse all the time. Lol.
I know one thing, they are some super rich musicians. @@whoitisnot
