Loving the insightful, analytical approach to your vids 👌 this one made me chuckle as I've just had a very similar experience. I'm a week into my 890 journey (coming off a Superduke) having watched from the sidelines since the back end of last season. Rode dirt bikes competently as a lad & mountain bikes well into my 20s, done a lot of laning in 4x4s too.. in my head I'm easily on a par with Chris Birch.. back to lane #realitycheck down hill, quite deep ruts, felt very unstable, tense, almost falling off every 5M, real eye opener. There was a downed tree blocking it at the bottom.. Que Austin Powers cut scene whilst trying to turn the bike around 🤣 found it a little easier going back up, I was dripping with sweat and half knackered by the time I got out.. definitely logged as my nemesis lane for now.
nice video, great looking trail. dont mind me asking but what settings do you have your camera set on as my videos are always very choppy, and never as smooth as this.
Thanks Gary and thanks for watching. My GoPro settings re Cinematic 4k, ISO 100-1600 auto, 30FPS, Protune auto. I tried 24FPS but it gave some blur. Image stabilisation on boost. It’s a Hero 10. Think 24 is good for smoother stuff.
Another great insightful video 👍 Personally I love to be Testosterony on the throttle, my FZ1-S with no traction control will squirm to let me know when it's got the better of me. My ZZR on the other hand just says "Hell Yeah!!" and it's the Speedo which reminds me, that perhaps I should get in touch with my more Oestrogenal side 😂
Thanks for the reply and for watching Michael and love you comment- I'm learning to make the rear end squirm and gaining confidence though it's more gradual as I'm not 21 anymore!!
@@advnoobie6061 Thanks for your reply, as for age? You’re only as old as the bike you ride. I’m 63 this year and riding the Worlds fastest production motorcycle. Though I wouldn’t have bought it or similar when I was 18, simply due to lack of control over testosterone input 😂
