I like this video. A nice review for those of us (who are also dreaming) who couldn't/didn't attend the overland expo. Your use of the word "fantastic" reminded me of Alec Steele, a youtube blacksmith who usually starts his videos with "Its fantastic to have you in the workshop today" and he genuinely means it.
This was a really great video I enjoyed it. I been researching trailers and seen your more recent turtleneck video as well as this one. Great content thanks for making them.
I have watched a few vids on these trailers and to be fair they are sweeeeet!! Big $, but sweet!! They do take overlanding to a whole new level though!! Still, if those magic numbers ever come up!!
Yeah these trailers are for the most serious overlanders among us. Have you seen Patriot Campers? OMG they are fantabulous but only for those with the deep pockets. Yes I can dream but it may be too long of a nap if you know what I mean.
I almost bought one, the UEV-490. Few things stopped me, one was the price tag, and I found other caravans/trailers from South Africa that are just as good or better. Top two on my list are the Bush Lapa Ratel and Afrispoor Cheetah. Even though there is no U.S dealer, you may freight one. Even with that, it comes out much cheaper to buy one because of the dollar exchange rate. I requested a price list from Bush Lapa Ratel 4&6 sleeper; fully loaded was around R339,000 which is around $26,000. Same goes for their off-road trailers in South Africa and Australia. Much cheaper but built extremely well.
Think we're gonna need a bigger truck. Lol If you're going to dream dream, dream big. Another great video. Are you going the Overland bound East expo at Biltmore?
Since having your Turtleback, would you go with the Conqueror AEV 490? Thoughts? Feedback. I just came across the Conqueror brand. They are nice, but just as pricey as Patriot trailers.
Jason, thanks for the insight. Love the concept. But I plan on traveling North/Central/South America. And am looking at best option. I have a Rubicon. Still leaning towards Turtleback.
Finally, quality RV products as in "Fit & Finished" that US RV manufacturers fail at miserably are making it's way to our shores of the United States. I personally cannot stand 99.9 percent of ALL RV makers in the states, except Airstream as they produce a quality product although overpriced in my opinion. The trailer above is just WOW. The RV manufacturers of today remind me of U.S. automakers from the 1980's where the cars looked nice but when you close your door the entire door panel comes off. Get it together already RV Makers of America because European RV's are finally arriving and this WILL NO DOUBT hurt their pocketbooks as it should.

Love all the content, man. Keep putting it quality material like you have, and your channel will do well.

A painting of the Belafonte on your wall! That's awesome. I'm subscribing for that alone. And great video.
Love these so much
They really do a great job. Obviously expensive, but that does not mean the value is not good
Another great video Jason! Keep them coming!
I loved your video. Well done and kudos!
You should do a review on your turtleback 👍 i enjoy watching your adventures. Hope to start my own soon.
It's on the list!!
Patches would be cool. I'm sure not cost effective but I don't do stickers, just patches in the trucks ceiling.
I have bigger one in my dreams hahaha. Great video as always.

Thumbs up* can't wait to get my hands on my sticker

The Bruder gets my vote....although expensive
That looks nice but would be hard to justify 40k for that trailer. Nice video as always. Putting in them long hours I see.
Great to see the high end Aussie stuff getting into the US market
That trailer is just insane! The trailer cost more than a brand new rig lol.

Big Buck thanks! And yep!
Thanks for video!

That's a good question. I don't think so. I like a lot of things about the conqueror, but it feels bulky to me.

Turtle back will do it for sure!
Robert Bravo The Aussie made stuff will always be pricey but it really is the ducks nuts.
