So you see, we keep the Sabbath by resting from our own works and we do this by faith in the righteousness that Christ purchased for us with his death, burial and resurrection.

Remember, Jesus was in Jerusalem for the Passover Sabbath. He must have died on a Wednesday, then 3 days in the bowels of the earth, then as stated in Luke 24 he was raised on the first day of the week (Sunday). "On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb." If he had died on a Friday he could not have sojourned 3 days in hell. The first Sabbath the women observed by resting was the Passover.
My understanding is that the custom at the time was to refer to a particular day, such as the second day, as being a day and night. Also any part of a particular day was called a day and night. Days changed at sunset, not midnight as they do now. Therefore, an event which started before sunset and lasted after that same sunset would be said to have lasted two days and two nights even though the duration may have been only an hour. Jesus was in the grave the whole Sabbath and just a little before and after. He was in the tomb from before sunset on Friday until after sunset on Saturday, or if he rose after midnight, he rose on Sunday morning. The Bible says it was early on the first day, so we can't be certain whether it was Saturday night or Sunday morning. The word 'hell' is 'Sheol' in the old testament. This means a pit or grave. Jesus was in the grave for three days and nights as I have explained, but that may have been only about 30 hours.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Many people are placing God’s people in bondage to the law because of the idea that they must keep a Saturday Sabbath. I would encourage you to come out from among any group that advocates keeping any part of the law. Because a little leaven leavens the whole lump (Gal 5:9)
We obey God because He saved us , not to be saved and Jesus said in John 14:15 " If you love Me keep My commandments " Exodus 20:1-17 ,Ephesians 2:8-10 . Amen .

Becky Shock Becky, if you REALLY love Jesus, who said with his own lips that he is Lord of the Sabbath, who said he kept his Father's commandments, who said he is THE way, THE truth, and THE Life, who kept the Sabbath, and who did NOT SIN, who said, my sheep hear my voice, I KNOW them, and THEY FOLLOW ME.
Why would someone who ACTUALLY loved Christ NOT actually follow him, and not obey His Law, but make weak, unbiblical EXCUSES to avoid the opportunity to worship God and adore him when HE specified?
"He who says I KNOW HIM, and does NOT keep His commandments is a WHAT?" John does not mince words at all.
The Bible does NOT teach that the Law of a perfect, Holy, loving, just God is bondage! It is LOVE! Paul said it is Holy, Just And GOOD!
What's wrong with not stealing, not committing adultery, not having idols, not lusting or coveting, not hating or killing, not taking God's name in vain, or having other God's beside him?
we know the sacrificial system and oblations have ended, because Christ, our paschal Lamb of God, has been sacrificed. But WHY, for what reason, would God change or set aside, destroy or diminish His Own Law, written in STONE, TWICE! Why not on PAPER? WHY BY THE FINGER OF GOD, AND ON STONE? Obviously, you know why. God does not change, perfection need not change at all.
WE need to change, and the ONLY safe way is to obey him, and accept his grace and power to do so, by faith?
Have you ever read Hebrews 4, or Isaiah 66, 22? What do you see when you read these verses? BE HONEST!!
maybe someone can explain why he does a good job of identifying the 1st and 2st beat, which is europe and america. but then he confuses the 1st beast the anti-chirst. he obviously knows the anti-christ is the 'little horn' or the woman who sits on the beast. but when it comes to the relationship between the 1st and 2nd beast he mixes this up. the first beast (america) isn't make the world worship the church, it's making the world worship europe. and that's been the history of america.
Chas0x01 you said the first beast is America but the first beast is Roman Catholic church and America is second beast which "fools" the world.

the mark of the beast is worshiping the Antichrist. People worship the Pope, who forgives sin. Mark on the hand is working for the Antichrist. My Sabbath is my rest in Christ Jesus. I think this pastor is a good teacher but puts the Law of Sabbath above Jesus Christ who became my Sabbath according to Apostle Paul's writings.
Up until now, I have believed everything David has taught.... but the mark of the beast would have to be a chip implanted in order to buy or sell in those days and not just imposing a Sunday law. This message confuses me and we all know who the author of confusion is!
Cathy Lee The chip, or how they enforce buying and selling doesn’t really mean its the mark of the beast. They may be able to stop buying and selling; no cash money, credit/debit card system or cellpphone and with something like this, they will control who can buy and sell. Most likely it will have to be some sort of computer where they can actually stop a person from buying or selling which they can almost do now except for cash. They can track, control and stop funding of a persons bank and credit account. But that does not make this control the mark. Actually, Sunday worship actually makes sense as you put the history, Bible and churches together, it starts to unfold. Keep praying and reading your Bible while seeking only Truth. Its not David that is causing confusion but years and years of confusion brought to us by Satan about Sunday worship going back thousands of years to the first sun worshipers. The rapture is really confusing when you delve into it and study the belief.
@@hopemediayou really think that there is a Sunday Law, when there are more than 6.8 million Jews in Israel that worship on the Sabbath (Saturday), and also..they don’t believe that Jesus is the Messiah. So with that being said, Orthodox Jews who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will die because of not believing in Jesus? Because Jesus says in the gospels, you will die in your sins if you do not believe that I am.
