50 Minutes of Plane Spotting - New York John F. Kennedy Int'l Airport (JFK)

- More than 80 Heavies and 65 Airlines are features in this videos (5x A380, 10x B747, 24x B777, 8x B787, 17x A330, 17x B767 + Many mores! )
After around 15 Hours of work on this compilation,I finally made it! Here's a 50 Minutes of Plane Spotting in JFK Airport with ATC included. Even if this airport got some of the most interesting traffic in the world in my opinion by the variety of airlines and number of heavies, this is not the best airport for aircraft videography, especially for RWY 31 arrivals. Talking about Runways,in this video,you'll find only 3 landings on 13L (from 26:30 to 28:20) and all the others took places on 22L/R and 31R. My friend and I sadly missed several interesting planes even if we've been there from the Sunrise to Sunset because of the many runways changes. Also, as we were standing in a parking lot on the 3rd day of spotting (approved by the Mall's security) , someone called the Police in the late afternoon because we were apparently "Disturbing the Peace" by taking videos/pictures of the planes so we had to leave... That A380 looks more like a building with wings than an airplane. That A340 is beautiful.

Very good camera work, well framed, with "almost" no use of the Zoom button at all. A pleasant change to be able to see the entire aircraft instead of suddenly zooming in on a wheel for example!. A real joy to watch. Others should take note.

I took HA 51 back to JFK from Hawaii! Amazing open air terminal there. Favorite airport closely followed by JFK.. thanks for the vid it was awesome. I learned some things about plane routes even tho Ik so much ( etc..East coast-china still flys ppl but china cargo- east coast goes through anchorage) keep up the great work man! I just really liked that the majority of planes weren't American united etc, Because that's boring

I really miss the old days spending hours parked on the rooftop parking at the Pan Am Worldport and parking along Rockaway Blvd by the 22's watching the planes back when there was a Pan Am Worldport and when the po-po didn't chase you from Rockaway Blvd....

If you watch closely at 15:42, you will see the right main landing gear strike a bird and then the bird goes straight down. The airline is Iceland Air. I spotted this while i was watching this video on my tv.
