It is always convenient to take the easier way out but God's heroes don't run instead they stay to confront the situation with God's grace and in turn grow in the love of God and in character. I want to believe her sincerity but on paper she has everything to lose so ofcourse she has to do everything she can get him to forgive her. It was a highly imbalanced reconciliation to the point that I just question her sincerity. And If I was in his shoes I would want to believe it at all costs despite the true and possibly hidden motive.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. I forgave her. we stayed together 13 more years and raised our family then she did it again... Hopefully she will not do it again? Different circumstances than mine I'm sure.

If I were in Bob's place, I'd never have accepted her back. I'd forgive her yet wouldn't take her back nomatter how much I loved her.
