Chris, you NEED an enclosed shop!! Looking at that yard with all of your stuff exposed to the elements plus the rat in Daisy, I'm not criticizing, but man! A pole barn or something would sure help your efforts! I truly love your work! Just seems like you're beating yourself up! Best wishes!👍
You mentioned the name Kenne Bell. Wayyyyyyy back in 1979 I bought a 1970 Buick GS Skylark 455 for only $700. In the early 80's I rebuilt a Buick 455 I had gotten out of a 1970 Buick GS Riviera in a junk yard (back in those days you could still find stuff like that in a junk yard). Back then Keene/Bell specialized in Buick high performance parts. I bought a cam from them, and after 7-months of them screwing me around, and no camshaft I had to threaten them with a law suit to get my money back. I managed to get a cam from Crane Cams in only 2-weeks. I swore to never do business with Keene/Bell again.
Really good video. Daisy is what made me start watching your channel years ago, good to see your thoughts on the car! You're an inspiration to me for my own shit box 70 duster, please keep up the amazing work!
that is a cool looking Charger and yeah Simplifying it sounds like you have a good plan forward that Aspen is going to be a fun car for someone and that one is making me look at them glad you saved it from that wrecking yard
Yeah I see what you mean and change things, I did this with my stuff year's ago but didn't get to finish them as I keepet changing my mind ☹️ and waisted alot of money as well. But I know you will get it sorted soon 👍🏽👍🏽
There`s a whole lot of plumbing under that hood Chris, yeah baby, old school, intake and monster carb, as good as you are at dialing them in, it`s a no brainer to me.
it's your car do what ever you want it's really great to see how much you have done to it you need to make more videos of you doin stuff so we can keep up...
Dude, road racing these cars is the best. My Bee is factory configuration but with simple upgrades, it rocks on the track. So many people can’t believe how well it does. Let us know when you get it done, I’d love to join you in a track day.
I thought a 3 link hybrid with a Y link on top with a massive uniball on top of the rearend would be the ticket. This would act as a combination 3rd link and panhard bar. It would raise the roll axis some, but it would work with a higher COG. It depends on how much you have lowered it. I am contemplating it for my '79 Scat Pack D100. I arguably have more real estate to work with on the pickup.
You said it brother! No more limp d ick air box knob air intake systems. Smurf stands as man's set up or patinas awesome nascar air intake system....THE BEST!
Speaking of Nascar I bought a Dodge R5P7 engine for my car it's overkill for what I wanted but I got a sweet deal on it and I wanted something different I was going to get a Kieth Black Hemi but that was going to cost so much more than I really wanted to spend and then I came across this Dodge and it's a dry sump engine that has like a 9000 red line making 800hp NA. That's what you need to get is one of them engines Chris since you want Nascar Power and it's NA so no turbo's or superchargers and I can't wait to get it sometime this week it should be here from North Carolina. It's gonna be great.
I know our opinions are just opinions.... But I said it 2 years ago... Nothing will kick ass bigger than a NASCAR style intake system... And the car set up for the street but really it's set up for trans Am series racing and that is your ultimate charger. Go anywhere do anything and even still take it off road not to do off-roading what muscle cars are known to go anywhere. But trans Am series set up on a charger with NASCAR integration. That's what you're talking about I totally agree...💯. And all the computer crap in the garbage can. Balls to the walls says patina and Smurf waiting for their sister to get her ass up to manhood😂
I never thought you'd finish daisy "based on content" but that triple black car I had hopes, however please dont give up on patina. I loved the videos and I always thought its a killer ride!😅
Well that puts that question to rest, I just figured it was on hold due to you having so much work. All things get done with time, you just have to find it :)
You trying to say now when you open the hood that it makes you sick thinking about how much money you spend on it and you're still stuck on the old four barrels I understand where you're coming from
I like the plan. Keep it simple, and too much HP would just blow the tires off everywhere without even more electronics to control traction. Stab & steer with no drama, life's good.
A couple of years ago I had just finished installing a brand new freshly painted Max Wedge in my stocker. I popped the hood to stare at it and what should I see but rat shit right between the carbs!!! That rat was dead before the day was done...
Daisy was the reason I started watching your channel! Then you shoved her to the back burner! What happened to butterscotch Runner? Totally dig that car!
Put a Edelbrock scorpion intake wit a 1050 dual feed double pumper that when you MASH the go pedal gasoline squirts out the tailpipes, you can see fuel guage drop, she drowns for a second but when she clears her throats and you hear them strange axles moaning (oh yeah, you wrung all the local factory stuff and had to order more gooder from strange engineering...
Yeah. More Sh#$ to mess with. Did that with a complete Msd ignition system back in 84 for my 68 fbird. Eventually the stock hei was back in it with lighter springs.
Add another benefit to carbs in man Hood setup on a old school car... No check engine lights no laptops... A jet kit a couple screwdrivers... The only computer I would put on a carb car would be carb cheater after an awesome mechanical tune which you always knock out of the park... Carb cheater puts the daily in race car😂🎉
All of the new engines are UGLY! The NASCAR inspired engine with the air cleaner they used back in the 90s will really look WICKED!Can't wait to see it , and hear it! PEACE ✌️
SIMPLIFY is my motto, makes life so much better.
What?!?! A hot rodder change his mind about the direction of a project?! No way, never happens !! 😂
Loved the sound & your expression when you opened the hood. Priceless.
Still would love to see you operating out of a shop with all the facilities and your cars protected from the elements !
Really enjoyed watching you with all of your content.
Thanks man
I agree. KISS method is best. Now, where's the Bobby Issac clone?
Simple = Betters
Bingo
Film welding on some quarters and floors, fans will still love it. Learn a lot watching that stuff to
Just curious Chris... Are you considering paint on any car?
Im an old man so Im with you on the Charger bein a road car. Engine revving goin in and outta the turns! Yea! I can see it!
Old school ..period.

Old fashioned mousetraps snap traps with Cheese 🧀
Really good video. Daisy is what made me start watching your channel years ago, good to see your thoughts on the car! You're an inspiration to me for my own shit box 70 duster, please keep up the amazing work!
Love it! all ur cars have different characteristics.the NASCAR idea sounds class
Love this channel and your work!! Keep it up!
Brother you are the Mopar man! You do what you gotta do buddy. It'll be badder than damn near anybody else has you the man!!!
Those hammered flares, wheels, and front & rear spoilers are Wicked ! Who makes those wheels ?
Hope we see some more sheet metal or body panel replacement vids soon
100% in agreement with the decisions made
I think he's growing up. ✌️
I agree with how you feel and there's nothing wrong with the set up you did but sometime less is more.
Agreed 100% only run what you need👌 also how can I buy those spindle brackets from insta post?
that is a cool looking Charger and yeah Simplifying it sounds like you have a good plan forward that Aspen is going to be a fun car for someone and that one is making me look at them glad you saved it from that wrecking yard
What kind of wheels is on Daisy?
Yeah I see what you mean and change things, I did this with my stuff year's ago but didn't get to finish them as I keepet changing my mind ☹️ and waisted alot of money as well. But I know you will get it sorted soon 👍🏽👍🏽
So glad you finally got your fn haircut . It was getting hard looking at yall. Eff drifting! Cheers!
It would have been cool to hear that thing run but I totally understand man
There`s a whole lot of plumbing under that hood Chris, yeah baby, old school, intake and monster carb, as good as you are at dialing them in, it`s a no brainer to me.
Can you clean the P off my blower 😂😂HILARIOUS
Whatever you build I'm here for it.
Horsepower isn't everything, the fun you have is.
it's your car do what ever you want it's really great to see how much you have done to it you need to make more videos of you doin stuff so we can keep up...
Those two brake master cylinders is a cool idea, it balances out the brake pedal too.
Thanks for the update. What happened to lemonader the blown duster?
I just started watching you when you were putting time in on Daisy. I was amazed by your fabrication skills. I look forward to the next post.
Hey Chris thank you for the video
When I followed this channel I don’t think I went back far enough to get information on this car but I always wondered about it.
Dude, road racing these cars is the best. My Bee is factory configuration but with simple upgrades, it rocks on the track. So many people can’t believe how well it does. Let us know when you get it done, I’d love to join you in a track day.
Nothing that DerRicky Bobby and him can't handle😂👍👍

Pizza crust, #1 rat trap bait.
Hold off on changing your mind. Could change your mind about changing your mind. Then what ?? You changed your mind. 😂😂😂👀😭🤣🤣🤣
I never thought you'd finish daisy "based on content" but that triple black car I had hopes, however please dont give up on patina. I loved the videos and I always thought its a killer ride!😅
I think the project looks good the way it is, but it will look just as good when you de-modernize it.
I agree... Thats too much engine for what you want to be doing with the car. How about solid 340?
Well that puts that question to rest, I just figured it was on hold due to you having so much work. All things get done with time, you just have to find it :)
Cool can’t wait to see What happens to daisy
DAISY!!! The car that caused me to watch it all.... started here
Good choice - superchargers build a LOT of heat with road course use.
You trying to say now when you open the hood that it makes you sick thinking about how much money you spend on it and you're still stuck on the old four barrels I understand where you're coming from
Question for you ! I have a 493 stroker just built . New 850 carberator . Timing at 15 . Headers glow and diesels
Needs carb tunning
🌼
How much for the aspen?
🦅🇺🇸💪😎👍
Yeee Yeee !
You should make a video and show your entire collection.
Those wheels are bitchin Chris..Exactly a trans am racer..
I like the plan. Keep it simple, and too much HP would just blow the tires off everywhere without even more electronics to control traction. Stab & steer with no drama, life's good.
Hey Chris, you have so many naturally aspirated MOPAR powered Chargers, why not enjoy this one as is without adding more work to your todo list?
Maybe you can sell that setup to one of your customers that would like that package?
Kinda feel like you should finish it and sell it. You could always build another patina car. Idk going backwards and tearing the car back apart sucks
Man i whish i had your money, i would burn mine, lol
I really want to see tis car racing .
A couple of years ago I had just finished installing a brand new freshly painted Max Wedge in my stocker. I popped the hood to stare at it and what should I see but rat shit right between the carbs!!! That rat was dead before the day was done...
Myself I'd leave the blown hemi in it & fix the rear suspension and throw a interior at it.
new school will never be old school i would done the same!
Old School much better !!!
Daisy was the reason I started watching your channel! Then you shoved her to the back burner!
What happened to butterscotch Runner? Totally dig that car!
Sold to a friend, I’ll end up with it again but in no hurry
That s all I did with my 69 426 wedge with stage v hemi conversion heads with Nascar bathtub intake and Nascar air bonnet, Daytona clone
Money to blow
Even the rat said pass on this thing, 😂
How much do you want for the system?
Blower setup 7k, fuel management system 2500
1UP
Hey guy, check out "American Iron Racing series", it's like real 1970's full size dirt and paved racing from way back when...
The first video of yours that I seen was you flaring the fenders on Daisy
Can you help me. I like your wheels. But when i searching ASS wheels on Google. They dont com up..?
Yeah. More Sh#$ to mess with. Did that with a complete Msd ignition system back in 84 for my 68 fbird. Eventually the stock hei was back in it with lighter springs.
Why don't you grab a late model magnum 300c, charger or challenger n spend an evening bolting your blower on it? Insta fun. No rust.
Naw just gonna sell
Panhard bar.....why not a watts link?
Rear suspension isn’t going to move enough to make any noticeable difference between the 2. Simplicity

Lucky
Does Derek have a car?
Yes a dart and duster
Tell your dog i said hello
Dont lie to yourself about it. We all know a blower looks great lol.
Sell it to Freiburger 😅
Idk , would look really sick , done up as a 69 500
Was brand new until the rat pissed on it
Shit Chris, you growing up on us? Lol
