Flashback: Most guys in the zone for a game .. I’m with my family and Rece Davis walked up & told me before a Thursday night game after calling me by name how beautiful my daughter was as a 5-6 month old baby and I never forgot how genuine and nice he was. That was 14 yrs ago. And I still think about it every time I see him. You don’t forget great spirited people. Great announcer and person. He probably doesn’t remember it but I do. That’s all that matters.
He works for a trash company.
He is a Muscle Shoals guy. You should visit the area one day. It's people are phenomenal...
Coach Smart is everything a college football coach should be. He is the absolute exemplar beyond any other coach in the modern era. The perfect blend of humility and pride, disciplined to perfection and loved by his players. We Georgia fans are lucky to have Coach Smart. May his tenure with the program be long and his successful reign endure!

That pregame speech was phenomenal. Whoever said it was foul and disgusting is soft and/or never played football or any sport.

That speech that was leaked wasn’t even from the CFP championship game. It was from the SECCG against LSU.

I had a feeling Georgia was on a mission this year. Yes, they won last year's title, but they didn't win the SEC and they failed to go undefeated. Knowing how Smart drives this team of his, that was going to be the motivation for 2022: Go win the conference, Go 15-0. It's probably why a number of guys came back, their work wasn't done. Now mission accomplished for the Dawgs on all fronts.

@@cwebed-stuy9951 it's true that "almost" only counts in horse shoes, UGA is just one "2nd and 26" play from 3 National Championships in the past 6 years. I'd say UGA is college football's best program and next year's team will be as good or better than 2022

I was one of the few who was happy to see Bennett return and then to do what he has this year was incredible. Bennett started out as the most hated Dawg ever and is leaving the most loved ever. He is the greatest story in college football of our lifetime and deserves respect for what he has help to accomplish. Love my Dawgs. GO DAWGS!! SIC EM!!

Just popped in from the year 2033 and it’s crazy to think how young and motivated Kirby was back in 2023. Now, with 8 natties to his resume he is going for a 9th and another 3 peat in 2033. In other news Dabo Swinney has joined Dan Mullen on a CFP podcast titled “ Dawg bite victims.” Where they discussed the victimization of being on the receiving end of a Dawg pound and how it ruined their coaching careers 😢…And Alabama is gearing up for their 4th consecutive Outback Bowl appearance 😊 Georgia now has become the epicenter of college football and The Dooley Dome formally sanford stadium now seats 140k. Go Dawgs from the year 2033.

Exactly right there isn’t a single QB or RB that could do anything without the lineman and receivers. Granted defense is different but you won’t win games without a good defense. I’m not a Georgia fan or hater but this team would have beat Bama by 3-4 touchdowns the way they played last night. That doesn’t mean Bama won’t take it back next year but I’m talking this year last night. Congratulations to coach all the players and all the fans!!

So many of us have waited our whole lives for Kirby to come in and get this program together. We watched Richt waste talent for years when they should’ve done great things. I can only imagine what Kirby would’ve done with greats like Todd Gurley or AJ Green
I don’t think Coach Richt wasted talent. We were all happy with Coach Richt when he turned us around. Coach just took us as far as he could and thankfully by then King Kirby was ready to step in and take us to the next level.
CMR was a good coach he's the second winningest at Georgia he just couldn't get us over the hump although he did come close a few times especially in 12 if we had beat Alabama that year we win it all then Go Dawgs
Kirby would not have won at UGA without the years of Richt developing that program... this dynasty began many years ago.

I know the MECCA of recruiting talent for football players are in my state....THE LONE STAR.....TEXAS. Friday Night Lights IS NOT IN THE SEC. But man I have to say, Kirby Smart did an unbelievable job of prepping his team after that bad DEFENSIVE performance against Ohio Sate. Congrats to the Bulldogs! So TCU HAS 2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. Georgia has 1942, 1980, 2021, and 2022 - that equals 4. Man its nice to see both of us (TCU and GEORGIA) in the mix for the next few NATTYS! Go Dawgs! Go Frawgs!
TCU isn't in any mix, and they shouldn't have been there this year. TCU is not a dominant program and you need not compare them to the likes of UGA and other powerhouse programs.
