As someone who recently got more into the works of Tolkien and the LOTR movies (I didn't have the attention span for any of it when I was younger) I agree that Frodo is a very underappreciated character but I feel that speaks volumes for how wonderfully complex that character is. I totally get why people don't really see the strength of that character right away from a surface level perspective. The more I've spent learning about the world and understanding things more as a whole than I did as a preteen/early teen, the more I truly love Frodo, and all the other hobbits for that matter.

This is another amazing replica and such a great scene to make it from. I really love seeing the side by side look at Lurtz and Frodo as we never really get to see a full comparison in the films, (aside from perhaps the fight between the Rohirrim and the Uruks out side Fangorn as the scenes with Merry and Pippin on the shoulders of Uruks was all waist high.). These replicas really show how towering, huge, and imposing the Uruk Hai are compared to a Hobbit and it looks frightening.
Funny u would say that your sister would just look at lotr for frodo. My grandma loved elijah and loved watching lotr just to see him. She did love everyone but Elijah was special to her. She past a year ago. I miss her soo much. Great video man.
Love the pose that they put Frodo in, holding the ring with its chain, rather than wearing it.. Am also loving how amazingly it looks like Elijah Wood -- Gary Hunt even got the cleft in Elijah's chin -- and the look of sadness/fear in Frodo's eyes.
Very well done review! Gotta say one of my favorite parts is the “outtakes” at the end - I thoroughly relate to that sense of nerdy excitement and fun, and it’s always heartwarming! I’d love to see reviews for all the available classic line, and those released soon! Very excited for Coronation Aragorn and Arwen, the Witch-King of the Unseen Lands, and Galadriel. Also more environments with all their tiny intricate details! ❤
Frodo is a great leader. He clearly leans more and more on his friends throughout the story, but look at his leadership in the Scouring of the Shire. It also takes great wisdom and strength to vet and follow good leadership. Like how Frodo listens to Aragon in Bree. He doesnt just hold onto the "bad thing" while everyone else does the work. He bears the burden with dignity and strength.
I'd love to see Boramir unboxing, actually the entire fellowship 👍. I think half the reason Elijah Wood was cast is because of those big, beautiful soulful eyes 🤣👍. On the website that Matt links, the site has 2 versions of Galadriel (one in the robes she wears at the Grey Havens about to leave Middle Earth and the lovely blue gown she wore at the Council in The Hobbit). There's also a beautiful one of Arwen in the pale green gown she wore at Aragorn's coronation.
