How to Layer stain and paint to create this modern rustic finish!!!!

Hey guys Amanda here aka Rustc Duck Furniture! I had a blast with this super easy stain on paint on stain tutorial, to hopefully help you take your unfinished projects to the next level :). I built this very simple console as a piece to do this finish on - if you'd like a build tutorial for this then comment and let me know!!
Stain colours used
Rustoleum (Varathane) Dark Walnut
Minway Classic Grey
Minwax Provincial
ANY latex paint in an off white colour - ceiling paint is good as it is typically thinner than other paints but if you don't have that and wanted to use something you had left over or spare it would be best o thin it down to the ration 3 parts paint to 1 part water!
