Great video. Loved that you talked about the concept, explained your process and how it all came together as well as what you would do differently. The use of the 3D model software shows how we can all up our game. I’m tempted to make one for my room but as a pendant, keeping in mind what you said about weight distribution. Great job and great design!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the feedback! One of my goals for all of my videos is to focus on the process of designing and making my products. This includes reflecting on the lessons I learn through the process so that you can apply it to your projects 😀. Good luck making your light!
The design is awesome. Can you talk about the actual light fixture? What are the dimensions you used? What electrical kit did you use? And why did you choose that specific light fixture?
Great questions! The electrical kit and materials/tools are linked in the description of the video and it was one that I found on Amazon that came with a long cord (longer than 6 feet) and included a switch to turn the light bulb on and off. There are lots of similar ones in different materials/colors. Thanks for asking!
yOU ARE A TRUE ARTIST! AND a very good tutor! Thank you for sharing!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this light! Thanks for sharing your work!
Thank you! You should see the one in my RUclips video coming out this Friday 😁. It’s similar to this, but curved and larger
Very creative Tim!
Thanks Jeff!
Beautiful, detailed information
Thank you!
Amazing!! Can't wait to see what you do next! I wonder if there would be a discrete place you could glue a little weight to so that it hangs straight.

Does anyone know the name of the circle part and how to create it in Fusion?
The circle is just a frame that I designed. Not sure how it would be designed in Fusion, but it was simple in CAD.
Great video! Where did you get the light 💡 bulb and base?
Found it in the description. Thanks!
No problem! Good luck
Very cool! Do you release your 3d models anywhere? Would be interesting to compare that with a 3d print
Thanks Kyle! I don’t share my 3D models, but I’m planning to sell the laser cutting files for some upcoming projects that are 2D.
Can I know all its sizes, but in centimeters?
It's approximately 20cm diameter and 40cm tall.
This is super awesome. You are amazing with your creations. For those of us that need a little hand holding(like me) do you sell digital files?
Thank you! I’m considering selling digital files in the near future for some of my upcoming projects. Keep an eye out for that!
He's selling them now!!
TheDarkestShinobi Thanks!!😃
looks like the MLB world series trophy - without flags
Haha I got that response from a lot of people 😆
Or you can put a counterweight on top in one side.
That’s a good idea!
What is the diameter of this circle
Hi, it’s about 7 inches wide when it’s fully assembled.
