still watching as i reply here.. i do prefer to use jumbo lump vs just lump, as it guarantees the full backfin with less chance of random shells. i nearly crack my teeth on bits of shell so i either pick the crab myself or get the jumbo lump. i agree, you can make it with the other types of crab too. even the imitation, which will NEVER have shell in it. but its not as good.
Thanks, it's a good one. It's a bit expensive this time of year, but will come down in the hotter months. I paid $35 for that one pound. Canned is cheaper, but if I can get fresh, then that's what I'm gonna use. Thanks for checking it out!
