I am stuck on 4:43. I lose a lot of time on the 5 hairpins. I have tried every tune possible to mankind but still cant crack it. Is it maybe because of my controller bottleneck? Or my skill issue 😭

Neither... it's seat time. Took me few months to finally able to get to 4:39. Basically in a hairpins nowadays, I use shift lock to 1st gear to initiate drift, and then handbrake tap to reduce the rpm to gain grip and to make the car point to the exit. After that I just slam my throttle

There's no trick, just improve your line, brake and accel timing! Mine wasn't perfect either. WR is like 4:36 😂, impossible for me too currently

@@KoplingID I tried the FD for the first time after many hours of riding the 86 and really didn't like the brakes. With ABS it refuses to enter the drift
and with the ABS off it has terrible brake balance but it's still much better than with the ABS. But I have already seen that in such cases you just use the handbrake.

@@aek-kek9052 Yeah kunos RX-7 is very stubborn with the grip and the rear end refuses to be thrown most of the time. Usually it depends on the turn curve. If it's sharp hairpin, yeah it's hard to get it to drift with only weight transfer + brake, although certain drifty setup can make that possible/easier.
