Owner ship costs Insurance runs about 1200-1750 a year, Maintenance runs 300 to 550 per service once a year and what else, It's been rock solid reliable for me. factory extended warranty run about $4000 for 100,000 Extra miles figures in USD,
I reviewed a 2020 and a 2019 AMG E 63 S and this re-designed 2021 is the real deal. V8 Biturbo engine sounds incredible - bangs & pops - over 603 HP is glorious. AMG Night package w/ all the high gloss black elements is a must have. Carbon Fiber package is a must have. Burmester surround sound system. I would buy this E 63 S over a C 63 S (although, expect a re-designed C 63 S for 2021).

That’s what I love about this car and the new M5 Competition. They are very understated cars and the everyday person wouldn’t know how much of a beast they are.
A friend of mine here in the UK, has a 2019 E63s and he took it to a Rolling Road to see the actual power output figures. The 603(PS) bhp figure is a massive understatement. The final graph printout showed the car was putting out 658bhp(PS). ( This was the third and final printout.)

Good to see there is alternative to the s-class that offers room, comfort, performance without the big slanted I-pad you find in the new s-class. The s-class would be more enjoyable if you are being chauffeured as opposed to chauffeuring your friends/family in it.
Personally I think you shouldn't skipp the Burmester 3D audio system in the E63 since it would give you the speakers on the door that twist in and out with ambient lighting around it
Colour may help with "attention", the designo brilliant blue would stand out a lot more than the designo selenite grey. Then again, who cares about "attention"... you got to be a 20 year old kid or the like to prioritise something like that. This car is a beast through and through. Great review.

A-wing refers to the shape of the grille. The top portion is narrow and it tapers to a wider bottom, like the letter "A". Where the older E-class AMG had a "V" shape going from wider up top and narrow on the bottom. Both are Panamericana grilles just from different generations.
This Mercedes since 2018 does 0-60MPH 2.7seconds (Mercedes Severely underrates its cars) Don't forget Mercedes GT BLACK SERIES is the Fastest Production car on the Nurburgring!! 🏆

I understand it's not a true sports car in the vein of a Porsche 911, but I'd take this over a 911 just for the additional practicality and this actually represents a good value in those terms.
Actually this one is more comfortable, Mercedes mentioned this since many people complained about the Pre-Facelift being uncomfortable even in comfort mode so they changed the suspension a bit for the Facelift.
GLE 53 AMG owner here. gotta say pulling the trigger on the 63 is extremely tempting, im debating on getting the facelift 2024 GLE63s later next year. Would you say the difference between the 53 and 63s is significant enough to justify the price difference?
We have 2018 GTC in that same color but I am a sucker for the new 4 door models. Kept telling my dad that if he wants me to stop asking to drive it then we have to trade mamas s550 for that or the gt63s and I’ll never ask again haha
Hmmm that’s interesting. I’d say it depends on the mode. Both shifted very smoothly. The shifts on the Mercedes were a bit more pronounced. Also was working with 108 more horsepower and an extra 150 lb-ft torque.
This depends on the selected mode. In sport+ it shifts harder, but in general the E63 has the same gearbox (AMG speedshift) like the S63 and the shifting can be S-Class typical butter smoth - if selected.

They finally got rid of those twist knob commands on the steering wheel for a much better premium feel design and functional‼️

That camera angle is top secret knowledge. And I actually never drove a prefaclifted one but I would assume equally if not more comfortable.
