They're looking to take Karkhiv VERY soon, the 2nd biggest city in Ukraine. Real estimates say they've lost 600,000 men with over a million severely injured. Here in Poland, they're locking down on all military aged men through Ukrainian embassies. Only men. Russia is not only doing well so far, they're going to go down to Odessa right after Karkhiv and take 30% or more territory from Ukraine most likely for good. Great job Ukraine, they were never considered warriors anyway.

@@powervr That wasn't the summer counter-offensive, that was the retreat of the Russians shortly after the initial offensive. Ukraine took very little territory with the counter-offensive last summer. You're confusing the two.

Russia is likely to lose air cover over Ukraine and it is doubtful whether they will have any oomph left to mobilise a serious offensive against a newly seriously strengthened Ukraine now capable of giving Russia a size eleven boot in the backside.
I heard exactly the same when they got Patriots, modern tanks and many more equipment and they could not even recovered territory, they actually lost it!! so I would not be so enthusiastic about it. @@adj3503 Good question... They are fired from retro fitted Migs so maybe Russian air defenses have kept them out of range or it could be as simple as not having enough needed...Atacms are mobile ground launched so they should be able to
get them close to the front line and well within range of the bridge.

@@josuemalatu5656 Simple. 1st the West was hoping the Putin regime would come to it senses. 2nd. Russia does have a large nuclear arsenal, so the west went slow and cautiously and is prudent. 3rd. The US and its allies provided tons of military support that allowed Ukraine to recapture 50% of the territory is lost and hold Russia at bay. No country is infinitely weathly so support given to others has to be measured, especially for the US which has responsibilities in other place around the world. Fortunately, other NATO, EU and Asian democracies have been increasing their contributions to meet the challenge. NOTE: Russia is fighting using weapons built by the USSR over 40 years to fight all of NATO. UKR has done amazingly well considering that fact. That old stock of weapons from the USSR will run out soon.

@@thinkerly1 LOL..do you know that the Chinese pilots took how long to train in Russia during the Korea war before they are even considered to fly in combat mission..training to fly F16 is one thing, to be truely expert and very familiarised in F16 is another thing...anyway F16 is not a game changer...i think to be on combat mission in the air, training of 1 year to 2 years are not sufficient...so good luck to the Ukrainian pilots..if one by one the F16 are being shot down, I think that will severly demoralized the Ukranian army especially if they place too high hopes on the F16..fighting in the sky with modern jets can be fatal in split seconds if the pilot is not truely in synch with all the mechanism of the fighter jet..

Russia very rarely hits its target. Their weaponry is very old and outdated. Presently they are using Chinese golf buggies on the battlefield without success. Many of their bombs have fallen on their own territory either due to pilot fear or because they are too far back for the front line and the glide bombs are inaccurate.
