Tanya Hart, the interviewer was actually back in contact with Pac the last week of his life. They were supposed to do another interview together on September 8th, but Pac went to Vegas and got shot on the 7th, and so she waited for Pac that day to arrive and then found out he was in the hospital for getting shot..
I love Pac's music, absolutely adore it. But honestly even if one never listens to the music, his interviews are just exceptional. He is so articulate and so human!
Pac was gonna be main character in Independence Day. He would have been biggest movie star, music star on earth and hip hops first billionaire 20 years ago had he stepped away from his revolutionary roots and not pursued politics… But pac was true to the core and went out like a soldier and didn’t sign his soul to the devil like all the rest these days!
I'm glad you are doing this and again people who have not lived through this it's hard to explain the impact and the power and influence he was and still is nobody was taking about the issues of society like he was
I always make it to the end when dealing with Pac I could hear him talk all day' very intelligent brotha love that dude. A lot of people still don't understand him but on the other hand a lot of us do. He is changing the world still almost 30yrs later Great reaction!!!! Keep Pac coming!!!!
Tupac's birth name was Lesane Parrish Crooks. His mom, Afeni Shakur, whose birth name was Alice Williams. When Tupac was a baby, his mom changed his name to Tupac Amaru after the Peruvian revolutionary. The surname Shakur came from her first husband.
The song Rebel of the underground, digital underground and 2pac became a spark musically for pac’s voice because he came out different from everything else at the time and he and the government/police could tell he had the ears of the youth !!

Another awesome video and it is greatly appreciated to see you go through these interviews and continue to give them new life. As you start learning more about the Black Panthers and what they went through it will continue to enrage you. It is bad enough how they treated Afeni when they arrested her but the treatment was just as harsh when she was pregnant in prison. Afeni has said in many interviews that she was surprised that Tupac was born and she didn't have a miscarriage so the odds were already stacked against him to not survive even before he was brought into this messed up world ... The Rose That Grew From Concrete! And speaking of that poem, thanks for taking the time to get his poetry book and share what he wrote before he was famous and before he was falsely labelled as a 'gangsta rapper/violent young black man, etc.' Just one of the reasons why we look forward to your reactions and the time you are taking as you go on this educational journey. I was in a very similar position as you when I first discovered Tupac as a teenager so everything you are experiencing [interviews, songs, poetry ,etc.] takes me back to those early days of discovering his music and message. I didn't know anything about the Civil Rights Movement, Black Panthers, the Shakurs [Assata, Afeni, Mutulu, etc.], Huey Newton, Emmet Till, etc. until Tupac started opening those doors for me. The journey and education never ends. "Long Live The Rose That Grew from Concrete When no one else even cared."

He's in the perfect interview with the best intentions. She's not looking to put him down. On the contrary, she seems to keep trying to uplift him and point out his strengths. Many people criticized Spike Lee for his depiction of Malcom X and the Ernest Dickinson shine by seemingly not supporting him. Many in the Black Muslim community didn't like it. Pac held everybody at the highest standard and sometimes that worked against him. Like when he said in the interview when he was 17 that his mom lost a lot of jobs and opportunities because of how straight forward and honest she was. She needed to press him on his role in Juice because people where already saying he contradicted himself by his music saying one thing, his movie another, yet he wants others to not portray the black community in a bad light. She was giving him the opportunity to speak to it because many people were on that vibe. Great reaction and great legendary interview!!!
Juice and above the rim are 2 of my all time favorite movies , I will be happy to hear your take on them Brain Squeeze !!! 2 pac and as going to be in a lot of movies, he was supposed to star in baby boy but was murdered before filming was to begin and Tyrese was brought in to play the part and the producer had painted picture of pac’s face put on the wall in the house Tyrese stayed in of the movie as a show of respect for 2pac ,2pac’s influence was growing and growing !!! Poetic justice was another big film for pac with Janet Jackson and also were he and Janet had issues with each but pac still showed respect for Janet.

Hey! I'm April, the one that did the MJ Black Or White Remix cuz Janna Paige challenged me to do it. She's told me so much about you! I'm a fellow reactor as well. Subscribed! Much love. 💙🙏
That was a nice wee reminder to me about the brilliance of the 2Pacalypse Now album! Hector, if you haven't done Part Time Mutha, I reckon you will love!
Love ur reaction Mr. Hector! U truly are the best Tupac reaction on RUclips❤️ Also, another great interview I would love for you to do is the Gridlock’d Tupac Interview
Congratulations on 8K. I'm really enjoying these interviews because most of them I've never heard of before. Brain you have got to watch some of the Tupac movies. He was really a very very good actor...."70"
Pac says in the movie ressurection, that he was wrong for lashing out against spike lee, arsenio hall, eddie murphy and the Jackson. He thought he was beeing qute and charming, his words! just so you know that movie is tupac in his own words from start to finish, so basicly its all the intervjus put in to right context as a movie.
U know i made it to the end of the video Hector dope reaction u see Pac made sure to mention Fred Hampton he is a revolutionary artist with the wisdom of 3 lifetimes at the age of 20 which is why the Federalis and government was watching him carefully they knew the power he possessed and the minds he can change due to his super consciousness 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What you’re also picking up on is a very specific type of classism that was going on in the Black Community prior to the 2000s. The middle and upper middle class Black people had a very paternalistic attitude toward lower class Black people. The BET Network represented those Black middle class values, which was about putting on the best face. Tanya liked Pac, but she was expressing what the upwardly mobile thought back then. “Why are you putting our dirty laundry on front street”.
Tupac and other rappers were from the hood were rebuking the idea of community spokespersons like Jesse Jackson only being allowed to represent and decided to speak for themselves.
Jay walking is basically crossing the street while traffic is incoming while not at a crosswalk or to some variation of that. It's one of those "it's illegal for your safety laws"
Nobody know talks like this he was way beyond his years and he understood that he was going to have to sacrifice a lot and even death itself if he was going to make a difference That's the biggest problem know Nobody wants to sacrifice or give up anything but they want credit for every little thing they do notice how he never says it's about him or what he can gain or how much money he has it's never small stuff
He spoke of Fred Hampton which was 21 when the police department came into his house in the middle of the night n murdered him in his bed with his pregnant girlfriend in bed beside him, Fred Hampton n the black panthers where also saying poor white Mexican n everyone else stand up n stand together and fight this system , you will here Fred Hampton saying power to the people.. Meaning if we stand together we have the power to change things..
I have never seen a Real human being as 2pac ever in my life. He was a Special one. Blacks or whites. 2pac was so smart that his mindset scared the heck out of the educated elites. Especially Whites Americans and the prevalent racism that was swirling in the country...he was fearless, he was braved, he was way too involved with the blackness and his likeness for Black was way too revolutionary... 2pac is one of the people that was born smart and very articulated. The white fear of educating the Black was proven by this man. Watch there's one of 2pac in every generation since his death but there's none to prove himself that he is what 2pac was..Until you're real and fearless to face this cold world, 2pac lives on gorgeously and forever. I see no man alive to take 2pac's place.
I think your reactions to Tupac are amazing!! Keep it going with the great content. Please take a look at “Everything You Owe” by Tupac. One of those underrated gems!
Absolutely great reaction🤞🏽💯mann Pac was jus sayn he was using this movie as a stepping stone to get to the next level but you gotta pace yourself… he knew this would give him exposure if movie was a success… n Pac had plenty movie deals n making before he past n workn writn/producing his own films to control the narrative of black people that was being marketed at time smh.. he was basically sayn he cant speak on Ernest Dickerson intent of the movie because that man wrote it n Pac was the star actor eventually he will get to that point to make a real change so jus support✊🏽💯
I loved this interview bro. U worked good on it as always bro. Love the direction of ur channel. Glad ur about to tackle the black panther journey I'll be glued to that. I noticed a lot of lil reaction channel popping up, but don't compare on how ur channel has progress, keep up the excellent work. See u on the next video
I'm glad that you picking up the subtle shit too Hector like the way he refused to bite the bait she threw at him. You got the right brain to absorb the brilliance of Pac and in return squeeze these video's out for us (see what I did there lol). Keep at it bro!
Damn 2pac don't play my God I didn't even know this about spike and the rest but I agreed with 2pac. Wow got to love him and there's np other one like him. Damn so so woke drug dealers put us to work too. I agreed with you that won't e a healthy round table. Lmao I'm clapping 👏 🤣 and lol so hard, " They are all the same." I can't wait until you react to that album. My introduction to the goat.
He mentioned sexism - I remember reading once that the East and West Coast panthers would physically fight sometimes because the East Coast was on some patriarchy shit and the West wasn't down with that.
the way the FBI infiltrated his group and murdered Fred Hampton is depicted so well in the movie " Judas and the Black Messiah" I recommend checking it out bro.
Why Tupac Shakur was killed and watch by the government because his mom Afeni Shakur beat the supreme court because she was on trial with the Panthers 21
I dont think he was around long enough to see all the philanthropy MJ did. Although to his point I think MJ maybe didn't do too much (publicly at least) for only black people or organizations, it was mostly for children in general. Wonder what he'd think of his buddy Snoop now
Back in the 90s that was a lot more money than it sounds like 2day but for somebody like 2pac that payment for a classic movie was fuckin discusting man
You got it around a bit, "Tupac" is not an African name, it's a Native American name, he was named after the Inca Warrior leader Tupac, his last name "Shakur" is Arabic, meaning God's warrior or something along those lines. His original name was Lesane Parish Crooks before his mother changed a week after his birth. He made fun of the officer's name "John" not because it was a slave name, but rather a generic white name, he has nothing against the name, he was returning the favor when the officer made fun of his unique name, he made fun of his generic name.
Im only going from an interview he was in talking about african names when he was young. (The interview is on my channel talking about New Afrikan Panther Party) and he is referring to his african name himself as being Tupac. So im a bit unsure as himself and the gent he was talking too opened the discussion about his African name and he gave examples as well.
@@brainsqueezereactions That's odd, because he or his mother (I think it was his mother) that his name "Tupac Amaru" was a native Peruvian Inca, who was resistant to European occupation during the colonization age and would fight back in every way, it's a really good story on a real badass you should read about, that's why Afeni named Tupac Amaru Shakur after Tupac Amaru, there is a possibility that Tupac was confused on the topic. He never even saw his real father until 24 regardless of what he said in this interview. Afeni never let Tupac's real father see Tupac because she was on drugs during those times. (I'm not making this up this is what Tupac's biological father said himself), so Tupac grew up never really knowing his real biological father because his mother would often lie to him and he believed that other men were his biological father. He would even write letters to men in his teenage years thinking they were his biological father because Afeni would feed into that lie until Tupac found out himself in his adult years when his biological father came to visit him in the hospital when he got shot in 1994.
@@brainsqueezereactions His mom, Afeni, met a Central American woman while she was incarcerated and pregnant. The lady told her a story about a Revolutionary historical figure from her country, Peru-Tupac Amaru. When Afeni gave birth, she feared being targeted so she put a fake name on his birth certificate: Lesane Parish Crooks. But, she legally changed her baby’s name to Tupac less than a year later.
I love the fact that it shows that education is not always the key n u looking at Tupac who was educated by the black panthers so now which education is better , Tupac is a reflection of the far ahead n knowledge the black panthers where.. His Mom won here cause by herself no lawyer n pregnant..Wow
@@brainsqueezereactions Yeah, in the interview bellow he says about his name coming from the inca chief from south america, take a look: ruclips.net/video/KOZ1PNL4Ih0/видео.html
24:42 Tupac isn't an african name, is actually a Peruvian name, after Tupac Amaru the neo-inca state leader in the 1500's. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C3%BApac_Amaru

That's what I liked about Tupac you learn a lot from him so much knowledge respect PAC 😊👍
The character Tupac played in Juice was absolutely fantastic because people believed that was Tupac's real life. That's great acting.
I'm glad you are doing this and again people who have not lived through this it's hard to explain the impact and the power and influence he was and still is nobody was taking about the issues of society like he was

He mentioned sexism - I remember reading once that the East and West Coast panthers would physically fight sometimes because the East Coast was on some patriarchy shit and the West wasn't down with that.
the way the FBI infiltrated his group and murdered Fred Hampton is depicted so well in the movie " Judas and the Black Messiah"

Most people won't be Pac, need to stay in school even if just for the structure of it

24:42 Tupac isn't an african name, is actually a Peruvian name, after Tupac Amaru the neo-inca state leader in the 1500's.
