AJ has had, one or two but has had MANY more top level championship level fights than Fury. Whyte, Parker, Povetkin are all better than all but two non of Furys opponents, the only thing Fury has over AJ is a draw vs Wilder.

The number #1 boxer in any division is the guy who currently has the belt. Until a challenger takes the belt off the champion, it is simply wrong to claim otherwise. Fury is to be applauded for overcoming his weight and mental issues, but it must not be forgotten that he was unable to defend any of his belts that he had just won because he was cheating. A banned substance in his body took that opportunity away from him. Imo he did beat Wilder, but he is a poor champion by anyone's standard. I would have hoped Fury would have challenged at the top again, but seems happy enough to take his ESPN cash and fight average boxers whom no-one has heard about.

M.A.W AJ’s next mandatory will be the WBO, which will be Whyte or Usyk depending on how Usyk fairs in his heavyweight debut. Joyce vs DDD has been ordered but that fight will likely be in the summer and Joyce will then probably face Kabayel or Charr. Tyson said he’s gonna fight three times this year, Joyce will also fight 3 more times this year, this will be the 3rd fight for both of them end of the year. As far as Pulev goes he may not wanna fight Fury and just hold onto his mandatory but he’s now being promoted by Arum he will happily stick him in with Fury

That insane weight gain, depression, lack of sleep, depression, anxiety and mental health in general takes its toll on the body. Not to mention the drink and drugs. Just look at his face. The Fury Klitchko fight was only boring to the casual fans. To boxing fans it was a boxing masterclass and great to watch. Fury went to Klitckos backyard and made the robot Klitchko malfunction by out boxing him. Nobody could beat Klitchko is 10 + years, nobody could figure out how to beat him, but Fury knew the way. And nobody gave Fury a hope in hell at winning.

His Lineal title ment a huge amount back in 2016 with all these belts floating about with different fighters, in 2019 it means a lot less setting up lineal defensives against Tom Swartz while Joshua creates his own legacy fighting and beating top 10 top 5 heavyweights year after year. Belts mean nothing to him but his lineal title means less now.

Tyson Fury is the #1 Heavyweight in the world today. He never lost his belts in the ring, so AJ is only a stand-in, holding on to his belt for him and he beat Wilder in front of the world, round by round. This man is the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World.
The number #1 boxer in any division is the guy who currently has the belt. Until a challenger takes the belt off the champion, it is simply wrong to claim otherwise. Fury is to be applauded for overcoming his weight and mental issues, but it must not be forgotten that he was unable to defend any of his belts that he had just won because he was cheating. A banned substance in his body took that opportunity away from him. Imo he did beat Wilder, but he is a poor champion by anyone's standard. I would have hoped Fury would have challenged at the top again, but seems happy enough to take his ESPN cash and fight average boxers whom no-one has heard about.
