Really good video , i own both in my colecttion and totally agree with you , i like the scent of AHS a bit more but for that prize you simply don't get the performance it should, so Versace PH is better option its almost the same but cheaper, they also last very few hr on my skin i only use them when i go watch movies or to the office and sort of that.

I definitely prefer the Versace Pour Homme, I like the more freshness/brightness of Versace. I do have the Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme which is even more creamy sweeter than the original and performs much better.

Versace Pour Homme is on my top 5 list (probably number one right now) I don´t have Chanel Allure Sport I sampled it on paper and was not so impressed. I have been searching for a sample/decant in order to see if I would like it more than VPH, although now that you say "more powdery" it rings a bell om my head, I must admit at this point after owning some colognes and has sample around 40-50 perfumes, I´m definitively a fresh-scents-lover.

I love the powdery creaminess and overall great quality of Allure Homme Sport but it’s just hard to recommend it because of the price. Fresh scents rock bro!

I am just starting out with collecting fragrances...and so far what I have learned...if you skimp out on price...youll be forced to live with an inferior scent. But im still new at this so much to learn.

I’m 55 and back in the day in my 20s I would put on cologne and go out to the clubs and when I woke up next day the cologne was still Kickin’, so I don’t know what’s happened to today’s cologne but they suck 20 minutes and the smell is about gone. I’ll just stick with good smelling deodorant

It is a marketing game. They first introduce the fragrance with best longevitiy possible. In a future time, they intentionally release weaker version of it to make you buy it more frequently.

Good job! Like you, I own both. Really like Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. I get better projection and performance out of it compared to the AHS. If price is a concern, Versace wins big. There are some very fine fragrances available for under $50.
+mike acord thanks man! AHS vs AHS Extreme is in next weeks Face-Off, I agree I also like that one better. A lot more versatile. Versace is one of the best designer houses there is imo, Eau Fraiche and Dylan Blue are really great fragrances especially for the price

disagree it is worth Chanel has more quality and much more heavier super long lasting long lasting beast !! (note Bought it from Chanel website ).On the other hand , pour homme smells weaker and more fresh
id pick versace because they smell so similar and in the uk you can get 200ml of versace for the price of 50ml of the chanel and no way is it 4x better ,it might smell a little classier but the performance for the price is a joke ...after 20 minutes its a skin scent where at least the versace pops a little and lasts a few hours before becoming a skin scent even if it smells a tiny bit cheaper thats ok .
I agree unfortunaly most of Channels fragrance's don't really preform well when you consider the prices they charge .
I own Chanel Allure Homme Sport and indeed, it's somewhat creamy. But the performance is very disappointing on my skin. Within half an hour I can't smell it anymore. You expect much more in proportion to Chanel prices.

@@moemoe-ex2hy where are you based? I'm starting to wonder if there is a difference in formulation between Europe and the US. Got mine from a legit Chanel distributor in the UK, but performance is terrible on my skin. Unless fakes are making their way into the supply chain somehow?

And I want to purchase something from chanel and I have eros. I'm trying to see if I should just go with bleu de chanel or sport extreme if they extreme smells like Eros I'm just gumna get the classic bleu de chanel edp
I really wouldn’t compare Eros and Eau Extreme. Eros is very sweet and bubblegummy and Eau Extreme is more powdery and fresh. I might have a review on Bleu de Chanel coming soon when my bottle shows up, but I would personally go with Eau Extreme. More versatile

Allure sport is the winner for me, it get more compliments from the woman of it. Allure sport got a little bit sweetness in it ( the vanilla) what the woman like. VPH is too fresh, its not a fragrance that a woman wants to really come close to you because you just smell fresh and that's it....
Dude thats crazy CAHS gives me beastly performance, but yes i do agree spot on with the traits of both, im just the opposite of you, i prefer the bright sharp fresh as opposed to the powdery creamy... u mentioned alternatives, what wld u suggest as VPH gives me a tad subpar performance

hey im 1 year late but for a fresh fragrance it last pretty good like for maybe 6/7 hours
The last weeks I have noticed that various reviewers on RUclips have talked about CK One Shock in a positive way. It seems that this fragrance (launched in 2011) is discovered anew in the fragrance community and this cheap one gets a lot of praise. Unfortunately you can't find it in the stores where I live so it's difficult to test it. It seems to be a tobacco based fragrance. Maybe you could do a face-off between CK One Shock and D&G The One? I'm curious to hear your thoughts about CK One Shock. I would like to know what kind of smell to expect from this fragrance before eventually blind buy it.

There is the EDT and EDP. I have the EDP which lasts me 7+ hours with good projection. Not sure about the edt

These two smell very different. Just look at the note breakdowns. Or, just smell them. One smells like a blueish summer frag with Ambroxan base and the other has a sweet/strong tonka bean date night type scent.
How can you think these smell at all similar?
I own both and they smell very similar to me. Not everyone is a nerd fixating on note breakdowns. They're not 1:1 but I'm pretty sure most people will smell both and think they're similar to each other, however like Chaos said CAHS is more creamy up close.

For the price Pour Homme all the way. You dont smell is as much on yourself throughout the day but others can smell it.
Versace Product policy is very simple.
Pick up the last 3 years Top trendy fragrance and Clone/Copy it, make a Good packaging and sell it like 30% cheaper than the Original.
Versace : Zero Creativity and Creation for years now.

I've always heard VPH has longevity issues but, in order to get a general idea (I know it varies from person to person), does it perform just as bad as the reformulated Nautica Voyage, which I own?

I have get decent performance out of Voyage, so it’s hard to say. I’d say VHP is on par with or slightly below the performance of Voyage
My nautica voyage which I bought recently 2018 doesn't perform at all
