Best part of my summer? Heading to Verbier, Switzerland, to ride after losing one of the closest people in my life. Gave me some closure and put a smile on my face once again...
Best part of my Summer- Getting my wife into DH riding and I (we) finally made it to Whistler. Watching her feel the hype was as good as hitting the trails I've been dreaming about for years!
adopted a pupper and had new-bike-day almost at the same time. got engaged and started renovating our nest. life's full of activity, work and i feel blessed. :)
This summer has been one of the best ever. I picked up mtb’ing for the first time in April, bought a stumpy a month later and got to work 3 times a week riding to learn. Lots of bails but got hooked. My wife got into it and got her a Kona. Best part of the summer: riding a blue trail with my wife for the first time and watching her concur some challenging obstacles. Such a proud husband moment!
Favorite thing this summer was going on adventures with my family! Youngest dude got to do his first mountain bike riding! Was a good time. Kids love riding along! They're also having fun learning to ride on our pump track in the yard! Many memories of building and riding and crashing already made.
The highlight of my summer was getting my bike in August, and then riding my first blue flow trail. Literally the most fun I've ever had, and I expect even more fun awaits me as I progress.
This summer was crazy... As an Ontario local there isn't much elevation and big riding. Last summer was my first time ever at the Whistler bike park and I had a blast. Lap after lap I was gaining confidence to try bigger and bigger hits. I felt like I was indestructible. While I was there I was also to meet a couple of my riding idols like Remy Morton and Burak Uzun.
rode the last day at trestle this season and vibes were off the charts. went out solo bc i just moved out west but i was able to find a group to ride with nearly every lap. mtb culture unmatched 🤙
Highlight for me was hitting the MTB fall festival in Knoxville TN. Thousand of people, great community and amazing friends. Bonus it was new bike time!
Had a great summer, high point was my Son and I going on our first trip to the French Alps to ride Morzine. I’m 60 and my son is 16, I almost kept up…..not😂😂😂 Love your videos and your vibe, your trip to Moab with your Dad was so cool. Cheers
A trip to the Valemount and Hinton Bike Parks was the best. I didn't make it to a big bike park this year, but I love trying new trails. Great things can happen in a smaller town if the community invests in growing their riding area.
As most dads that watch your stuff said. Riding with my kid, and seeing her really get her head wrapped around riding, and then watching her progression sky rocket.
@@splooshmtb Fountainhead is fantastic. Berms, jumps, drops, scenery, jump lines, steeps, flow...everything you want. Your legs will scream by the end of your ride, and you will smile all the way home.
Best part of summer (edit: riding season) was hitting some of the double blacks at Sun Peaks for the first time. It was cold, snowy, and muddy. Things were on the razor thin edge of being out of control. I turned my brain off, trusted my bike, and sent it!
The highlight of my summer was definitly going to Whistler for the first time, hitting A Line and Dirt Merchant after seeing so many videos was awesome. Highlight of my summer and life.
My summer highlight was getting back together for a ride with two friends I hadn't seen in over a year since we all moved away further from each other. Catching up on the climbs in between heavy breathing and then nothing but hysterical laughter all the way down. Nothing better - #rideyourdamnbike
One highlight of this summer for me was at my local bike park (Snoqualmie Pass): i did a massive rock roll for the first time ever, but crashed on the runout, went OTB, and did a front flip through off the trail almost had a stick impale me in the face. Fortunately i escaped uninjured, came back a week later, and conquered it. Not only did i do a massive rock roll, i (technically) did my first frontflip.
Highlight of my summer? Working mad overtime all summer long, but the good part is it allowed me to build up a pretty sweet hardtail with all that overtime pay. Nothing like breaking in a fresh build during winter😳
My best bike summer ever. Finally getting back in shape after a huge injury and going to Morzine, france with the boys for a week was an incredible amount of fun.
Best part of my summer were all the rides with the homies. I got 833 miles of singletrack so far with them this year. I hope to do much more before the snow comes.
The whole summer was the best part. Moved from Ontario to Squamish in March and finally got to live it all. Bike park, crankworx, squam loamers. Couldn’t really ask for much more. Thanks for keeping the hype alive, boys! See you on fitz 2024?
Best part of my summer? Clearly traveling to Canada with my girlfriend and riding a day in Whistler during Crankworx! Hopefully i get to come back some day
The Best Part of my Summer wasn't hitting 10 different parks this summer on a Cross Canada Blast. Sick as that adventure was though... It was 1 day, 3 Laps, with my Dad, 58, at Mt Washington (I snagged 5 more while he guarded the Pub), introducing him to the stoke of DH biking and finding the flow like he used too on his Sportbikes. And then He and I rough camping on Qualicum Beach under the stars. That. That was the best part of the summer. Id give up alllll the other laps for that day. No Shit. 🤙
I absolutely loved riding Whistler for the first time this summer! Buuut the last lap curse got me and I crashed hard on freight train, went otb on the mini moon booter. Luckily all good now, but that was the worst crash i've ever had!
Best part of my summer was traveling 2000 miles to surprise my father in law with the first ever mountain bike I ever owned that he gifted me almost 8 years ago. We used to ride together multiple times a week before he moved away and it was amazing to spend a week riding with him again. We both really needed it.
Best part of my summer was riding the London to Brighton Off Road in support of the British Heart Foundation and raising over £200 for life saving research! It was 61 miles with 3244 feet of elevation! Oh and got the VHS jersey from your merch store! Wish I had ordered some stickers with it as the shipping to the UK is a fair whack! 🤘👌😵💫
Quitting my soul sucking, wallet killing, drug adusive career of 13 years, got a job as a bike mechanic, spent every day around nice, new, classic, old and random AF bikes. Then ACTUALLY getting days off to spend riding. With the new friends from the shop. Best. Life. Ever Still broke tho, but my bike very nice

Favorite part of summer, other than endless days of riding, was finishing off the end of the season with a trip to Taiwan!

Sounds great!

Best part of my summer was going to Whistler for the first time so that I could watch this video and recognize the trails! 🎉
The only reason to go to Whistler is to be able to watch this video and recognize the trails.
