Such a great tone. I have a Gibson Dove but have always wanted a Frontier. The Masterbilts sound better than the USA Frontier to me, which is a handy observation considering they’re £3k less street!
@@gordonovenshine6968 hey, I haven’t felt the neck on my Frontier is too narrow. It’s a perfect size for me, and I have average sized hands. Everyone’s different of course. Go play one if you can find one nearby. I totally happened upon mine at a store in Oklahoma City. I’d been playing guitars for months at stores around Tulsa and okc, Taylor’s, a ton of Breedloves, some Martins, Taks, and Washburns. I just saw that thing in the corner and grabbed it, and the rest didn’t even compare. Bought it immediately.
I am already 47 and my guitar journey started just 3 months ago. My dream is once to be able to play like you. This guitar sounds so good, I think it will be my 2nd guitar soon.
Hey guys! You are so right. I am getting better and better. Strumming some songs with the most common open chords is no problem. Well chord changing not yet fully automated but it is just a matter of time. I am also already doing some easy finger pickings. It is so much fun and inspiring. And yes, I own this Frontier since January. I love it so much, it is a guitar for life 100%.
Every review you nail it . I believe you can make anything sound good or ya’ll running that sound through the microphone then about 20 thousand dollars worth of electronics.
I had an epiphone dr100 which a bought it in a mall store..i upgraded my dr100 the nut bridge pins and saddle to graphtech tusq and i change the tuning peg to vintage style locking tuner..and i tell ya..its sounds amazing..✌️🤘🤘❤️
I played one of these at a local guitar store and I really liked it minus one issue. If I barred a chord up the neck say on the 5th fret the high strings were fairly muted compared to the others. It was my favorite guitar in the store to play chords down the neck on however. This one does not sound like it has that problem. I am wondering if perhaps different strings would sit better with the guitar? From my experience with some other maple guitars with the same issue, it's often a matter of just finding the right strings (gauge and make)
I bought the frontier. It does come with a Pau ferro fretboard (Dorado) some call it rosewood but it is not of the rosewood Genus. Anyway for the money I’d buy the frontier. When it originally released in the 1960’s it was based upon the dove. Solid maple back and sides. These are great guitars that punch in way above the asking price.
I know this guitar has bone nut n saddle n sounds amazing but its would sound incredible with tusq bridge pins. Such a lovely sounding guitar. Very pleasing to the ear.
These are much better than I thought - all solid wood, but a poly finish. I’ve played this model recently, and I’ve played the Bozeman built one, too, about a year ago (and it’s fabulous, and I’m not a Gibson guy, I’m Martin and Guild for acoustics) The Epi sounds great, for the price. The narrow nut width is a deal breaker for me, but it’s the first Epi I’ve ever been interested in! Peace (His playing was great for a demo, but if your listening thru any digital system the soul gets sucked out of the sound)
The guitar is amazing and the hat too
Such a great demo. This is the demo that made my decision to purchase the Frontier. Thanks kid.
did you get your Frontier?
same
Really enjoyed your playing. You sound great!
Nice playing. I love the Epiphones.
Good to hear the different styles giving the guitar a good workout

Magnificent playing. I have this guitar, it’s sublime.
I have an Epiphone Texan. Neck is too narrow. Is the frontier like that?

The mic is as picking up the sound frequency as close to our ears would. Our ears and brain are worth more than 20k lol
Demo is how dynamic of sound of this guitar can make..that have done on this...is correct.!!!
I just bought this guitar my other acoustic was stolen years ago cant wait till it arrives!
Great demo!! Finally not an idiot who is trying to play some staccato annoying fast solo.
lol... Buckethead please
Great video, thank you for sharing.
3:00 wow, amazing playing... what is the name of the song?

Beautiful job on the fingerpicking
Great playing man!

Bellissimo!!!
What’s the song at 0:40 secs? Nice and chimney. Are you compressing the signal?
Hello My Friend
Could you give me the 2 measurements of the width of the shoulders and the bottom of the guitar?
Kind regards
Anna

Hi, would you recommend it as my first maple wood guitar or is there another one in the same price range? 😄
these new epiphone masterbilts are as good as gibsons. I own a gibson sj200 and the epiphone excellente, theyre on equal par, imo.
Dove Pro Epiphone, maybe
Better than any high end gibby
😂
Frontier o Humming inspire by Gibson?
very very nice thanks
This beautiful Frontier or Epiphone Dove Pro (rosewood fingerboard) ?

Its comparable to the seagull s6 ?

중가 어쿠스틱 2대 하늘나라로 보내고.. 오늘 이 모델 질렀는데... 어떨지....걱정반 기대반이네요.....약간 하이가 약한 듯 한데...
Hey is this guitar worth the 900?
What kind of strings?
Santacruz Low tension strings:)
SOUNDS GOOD
Sounds like a flat top acoustic guitar, nothin special. Amazing how they can throw a name on something and suddenly its amazing.
Sad to see epiphone original series of guitars r just not that given importance. Some may still see this as Gibson tone down Acoustic version
this sound like my hummingbird honestly, can't hear any difference
crap
sounds like 300$ guitar, not impressive at all
I have a 300 quid guitar. Sounds great.
Please , do impress us playing this 300 $ frontier like Joil do …
