In all institutions or organizations or whatever spheres were a black person is the leader, there is corruption, nepotism, adultery, fornication, and all the disgraceful deeds, I'm saying this with a bitter heart and very much devastated as black SAFRICAN, from experience, and what is mostly disgusting if one would be found to want to do the right thing we kill him, or trap him to be expelled from the job, shame on us, we are Satanists.

      Nathanial - sadly, I think that all those people who dreamt of great things for all the people of South Africa when we stood in that queue to participate in our first democratic elections feel the same way as you do. What has happened to our health system, our education system, water, electricity, SABC, post office - all are a disaster thanks to the ANC - and I see that we’re still throwing billions into SAA - when the majority of South Africans will never use it (how many homes could have been built with that money, schools, hospitals etc). Eskom has had one after the other cadre CEO appointments - all useless and unequipped for the role. Andre de Ruyter needs to be applauded for taking on the task of trying to sort the rot at Eskom - regrettably it was obvious that those government representatives who should have supported his efforts to fight the uncontrolled corruption in Eskom never did- look at Gwede Mantashe and his utterances - and where is Pravin Gordhan? Andre de Ruyter is right, the ANC has no desire to fix Eskom. The feeding trough must be kept full. I wish you well for the future Nathan. Let us both live in hope of one day having a government that is truly there for the good of the people of South Africa.

      At that time, I was working at Eskom as a plant engineer. From my first hand experience, during Koko and Brian's time, we actually worked the most. At certain stages, we would have between 2 and 4 planned outages on our power station in each year. This does not account for weekend outages that we had. At some stage, the weekend maintenance outages extended to a weeks outage. I don't know where you got your information but my information is first hand information from inside the organisation.

      2. When last did they have cold reserves?
      3. What is EAF and what does it tell you?
      4. How does the current EAF trend compare to that which was seen when Brian and Koko where in charge?

    • @afenijmeijer9027
      @afenijmeijer9027 2 года назад +2

      @@kennedybolokang6699 EAF , cold reserve was all ignored when the criminals were in charge. Koko fired or suspended numerous personnel if they had plant failures, which were unavoidable due to lack of maintenance. Consequently there was a culture of fear and the stations kept the plant running whatever the cost was down the road. The maintenance schedules were forever being modified making planning a nightmare, the results of that are now at home to roost.
      Listen to what De Ruyter said, it is all on point.

    Support this man, there are people who know who the culprits are in many cases. Some people know who the corrupt people are and the names of those companies who corrupt. Takes two to tango. Twenty years ago many stations ran efficiently , not covered in ash , used correct parts on service of plant . Who decided to close stations stating Eskom had over capacity? This reduced the number of qualified staff who had years of experience. Also caused the closure of companies that had capabilities and infrastructure to support Eskom . These included.companies that had years of experience on boiler maintenance , and boiler tube capabilities to ensure correct materials and service procedures undertaken. In many cases employed people who had been involved with original equipment manufacturers of installed plant. A lot of corruption started when buyers allowed with support of a few consultants and service providers who should be allowed to decide to replace genuine OEM parts with lower quality parts. This long before the present CEO held this position. So give him and his board the room to correct the situation and put Eskom back on a stable path. Do not play into the hands of those who see the new closing on the rampant corruption which will perhaps shut off their lucrative kick backs.
