They go on to discuss producer Mike Dean, his legacy of being one of Rap-A-Lot Records' go-to producers and the magic that he does in the studio. Cory also tells about the session he was involved in with Dean when he and his brother Mike were invited to assist in the engineering of Kanye West's 2005 classic 'Gold Digger'.

Cory also tells how he wanted to help carry on UGK and Pimp C's legacy with the branding of the phrase as well as making the site countryraptunes.com to promote Southern rap artists and teach those interested about the history of Southern rap culture.

I been inside stankonia twice & u feel the magic in there
I went to see Big KRIT when he was touring with Macklemore. When I walked in, Cory Mo was on stage performing. I felt like I was the only person there that knew who he was.
Then it blew my mind that Talib came out next.
Being from Brooklyn who did a decade in Houston. It felt special, great talk everybody.
