Kane is an unselfish player. You can tell by his celly. He literally pointed to who gave him the One-Timer opportunity. Still gives you goosebumps to this day.
This was my favorite of our three playoff runs. Don’t know when I’ll ever experience competitive playoffs Blackhawks hockey but I am truly blessed and lucky to experience the three Cups in six years. Something I will never forget for as long as I live! ❤️🖤
Im a Kings fan and obviously we had our beef in the playoffs in the past. Honestly though one of the best plays in NHL history. Kane will go down as one of the greatest no question.
It’s hard to defend a claim that he didn’t try when it’s confirmed he played with a torn groin. You can tell he was all out on the shot because the second the pass went across it was over. He tried but there was no extension with his left leg.
Kane was beating him here even if he was 100%. This is the same shot as the 13 WCF winner, and even less of a chance bc Richards is in closer and will score himself if the goalie cheats over towards Kane at all.
You can even tell on his face lol though his mask on video that he knows he’s done. Nothing this guy could do. I have no idea why he was even in net at the time
It's hard to think of another single player hogging so many iconic moments for his league out of the 3 leagues where there are big rosters. Like if you're comparing iconic NHL moments during Kane's time in the league, if you go him vs the field, he beats the field. He's got a longer reel of them than the rest of the league. This goes extra for the Blackhawks. They have more than the entire rest of the league - by a lot.
Kane legit could have won 3 Conn Smythes, or 0 Conn Smythes. Tho the first year despite his insane production (28 pts, tons of goals) and the walkoff winner, he was a big minus number bc he had 2 games vs Philly where he was a combined like -7.
One of the best plays I've ever seen in NHL playoff history.
Yep fax!
@@hockey9196 I'm an LA Kings fan have been since I was a kid but I just love Hockey in general.
@@hockey9196 yes agreed though! Absolutely beautiful shot.
@@stephenresponts2935 yep
Pretty good play but it happens almost nightly in the NHL lol. Just being honest
Seven years ago and this still gives me goosebumps
Man there’s nothing like a playoff hockey crowd. That eruption when Kaner scores is unbelievable

The no look pass is my favorite part

0:10 One of the most depressing moments in NHL history! Give me the worst memorable chills every single fricking time... 😪
Aww, that’s too bad for you. I guess you don’t like exciting NHL teams.
@@hawksfan8870 they are a lightning fan that’s why

@@zachdoster1206 Yeah ikr. I’ll never forget Stamkos coming back and scoring that goal… Wow, this comment’s from 3 yrs ago jeez.
This is one of my favorite playoff runs in history.
Feels like yesterday....
I WAS THERE BABY! BEST moment of life!!!

Still never gets old to watch ❤❤
if i could choose one goal to see live at the united center, it would 100% be this one.
It was amazing! I was in the corner where Kane shot. The Keith goal was the loudest I've ever heard the UC until this goal. Literally deafening!
I remember screaming SHOOT and then I sat down and remembered why I’m not in the nhl
Drops it to Richards, across to Kane, HE SCORES!! Will be forever etched in my mind
What a shot by Kane. That pass was in his feet and he still was able to adjust and put it in
That celebration🥶🥶
number 1 best growd moments

I was at McNally's on Western Ave for this and the place went up for fucking grabs.
South side does it best
This celly gives me goosebumps
Even as a lightning fan, this was a great goal.
I’m a blues fan but damn does this give me chills
What a play by Richards also. No look pass BAM in the net
Can you imagine how rattled the goalie has got to be? He just stood there not knowing how to react
Kane's a Ranger now😪 but man I miss this era we were so dominate
You can tell Bishop was in pain. Dude didn’t move for shit on either on the fake pass or shot.
I remember the game vividly, but I forgot about the tornadoes. 🤷🏻♂️
Guys I wonder why you keep coming to this video? 😀
Yes!

The fact that the crowd is more louder than a regular season Bulls game.
No shit its the stanley cup
It’s the Stanley Cup final, no shit it’s going to be louder than a regular season game in any sport.
The Stanley Cup is much bigger than not just a regular season NBA game but any NBA Finals game 7. NBA is not a sport.
@@georgial6398 you sound stupid the NHL is literally the least watched major Sport wtf are you talking about?
I’ll never understand why they never changed goalies.

Duncan Keith was great in 2015 but Patrick Kane should have 3 Conn Smythes
Nah toews deserved it in 2010
