I'm looking forward to this one. I'm impatiently waiting for BBTS out ship out Wave 11. I've heard about people buying fishing poles from the doll section at Hobby Lobby to give Big. I'm thinking about just doing that and hoping we get a 2.5" Froggy.
Now that I see that the Jakks Big is the same height as the Toy Island Big, I am not going to bother with the Jakks one. Mostly due to the lack of accessories, plus while sculpt might not be as good as the later figures, it still looks close enough to how he is supposed to look. True, he has limited articulation, but this is Big the cat, not Blaze the cat, you aren't going to see him doing the crazy acrobatic stuff she can do.
I believe your Sega Toys Big is a Chinese bootleg and not the original that was released in Japan. The original has yellow eyes and not white and his colors look better and more natural and not shiny. The original also has the copyright info on the back. I'm pretty sure I own the authentic one that I bought from a US seller, and the colors and quality in general look much better and more like something Sega would make.
They gave Eggman a Checkpoint accessory in his re-releases, and it went to the point of half of the accessory being outside the box. If they were willing to do that with Eggman and other characters with Checkpoints, then they could've done that with Big the Cat's Fishingrod. There could've been room to fit Froggy in also, so um. Yeah.
I found it funny at 1:56 when he rotates the tail, the slide whistle in the background music syncs with it!

Bad accessory is a good trade off for keeping that $10 price point with every figure.
When you get Chaos it would be cool to see how he looks with the ReSaurus figures

Watch them rerelease Big in a later wave and then he'll come with Froggy or his fishing pole.
We just need Gamma and we’ll have the whole Sonic Adventure roster.

I like how the new jakks one looks more like the other Big figs compared to the Jazwares one looking more game accurate.

Went sonic hunting at Walmart last night. They had no 4 in figures and 0 2.5 in figures.
