What a lovely relaxing walk that was with the sound of the rain/sleet falling. I can't believe how busy it still is gone midnight, there was plenty of activity. A city that never sleeps it seems. 😊 The tree in Trafalgar Square looked a pitiful thing. Thank you for taking us on this walk and braving the elements to do so, very much appreciated ⭐

Hi there, I was totally engrossed in this walk. I love to see the streets that are normally thronged with tourists virtually deserted, the few people who are walking around look extra menacing at this time of night. Especially if they are just loitering around with nothing to do. What were those two doing with a pushchair along by the embankment? and then they abandoned it. I think I would have gone and taken a look in it.

I think the real winter with amazing snow in Western Europe is in Scandinavia especially Norway. Germany, Austria and Switzerland are also winter wonderlands of ice and snow during this time of the year.

@fixerone1963 Thank you! It's because we can turn out heads quickly and it look appears fine to us, but the camera needs to be turned unnaturally slow to look fine.

I lived in London 1978 - 1982. I cannot remember that it really snowed then. Is my memory fading ?
