Beautiful work !! May I ask what size of cake pans do you used for the honey pot?

When you use food coloring, is it watered down and painted on the actual fondant? It looks SO awesome!

Marsha Lemos thank you so much!! I dilute it with a whipped vanilla flavored vodka. It leaves a better taste in my opinion and it dries quickly but not quite as quickly as everclear so I have more time to blend!

That looks absolutely amazing! Did you dry your fondant before painting? And did you store it in the fridge after it was painted by any chance?

Nicky Kostouli thank you so much! I did let it dry out a bit before painting and then maybe an hour or two before cutting them out. I feel like I kind of cheated using the cricut but it just worked so well 😅😅 and yes I always refrigerate my cakes and I’ve only had a problem with one that was black and white zebra. Sometimes boxing and taping the cakes and then refrigerating seems to help with condensation and paint running. But this one had no problem!

Would have like to watch this on a much slower speed. Hard to see exactly what you are doing. Awesome though!

Lubna Rafiq I used some clear piping gel that I warmed just slightly and colored with ivory food coloring gel and then painted it on! I went a little thick on the opening of the jar and lightly on the drips ☺️

Do you remember what size cake pans you used?

Copped_anODY I believe it was a 9 inch for the bottom tier that I trimmed to 8, and the honey jar was 3-4 six inch rounds and maybe a 7 or 8 that I carved for the shape!
