What about in my case where my niche is naturally extremely niche (etiquette and manners). It's an established industry, but SERP/Search volumes are naturally on the low side (100-10k) max.
Sir Adam, commenting from Nigeria, I love the way you put things through. Please as a newbie, if I search for a keyword but the sites in the top 10 are mostly RUclips, Facebook and Quora. Can I write and rank on that keyword?
Thanks so much Adam. God bless you man. May all your coffers always be overflowing with golden coin. The information dump that comes form your videos is astronomical.
This is great if you have Ahrefs. The free trial won't let you do anything. Im a new blogger. Can't afford to purchase that however I did like the google ideas, that I can do. Thanks Adam.
KW research has always been my weak point. I have watched so many videos and normally lose interest within 3-4 minutes. Or.. in the case of the Ahrefs videos.. they get waay too involved and my head is swimming. Yours is the only video I have been able to watch to the end. I actually feel as though I learned something that I will be able to use. THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🥰
Honestly, the process of keyword research was so foreign to me, at first. It is finally starting to make sense-looking at it from a transactional and information point of “search”:) TY, Adam for all the great info!🦋 My niche is home office ergonomics. It can be challenging to make it fun and informative🦋
The biggest issue is ahref and similar tools are outrageously expensive that you can only safely afford it is if you are earning at least 1k per month from a day job. That rules out most middle-class people in asian countries where we earn $250-$500 even as a software engineer. Only in US that even with minimum wage averaging 1.5k monthly that it's possible to set aside $100 per month. There should be cheaper alternatives.
Hey Adam, another GREAT tutorial. I need to watch your videos multiple times to apply so MUCH value. 😊 When doing keywords research, how do you know which synonyms or similar words are the most searched? For example: email marketing, mailing, mass emails, bulk emails, etc. Any advice? Thanks
With Ahrefs you can look for “parent topics” to see what the top level keyword is for any given search. Then you can use their “related terms” tool to find close variations like you mentioned.
Extra tip: Most of time researching parent topics requires a bit of brainstorming on your part as well. Keyword research tools like Moz, Ahrefs etc limit the amount of suggestive keywords they show according certain preset metrics. For example when you search a specific keyword moz might limit your keyword suggestions to only show keyphrases that include your original keyword. An easy way to counter this is to think of all the related keywords you think would be a good fit for your content.
Love your video. In fact I've been following along with the video and doing keyword research in Ahrefs, but all the keywords in my niche are super hard. I can't change niches because that's all I know. What should I do?
Your video is very good to understand, now I know what to focus on. One quesiton, getting backlinks is hard, do you think buying guestpost is good or insert linking in other peoples blog is good?
Great video! How long does it take for Google to start ranking and indexing a new blog? I started in the month of June and I have six posts so far and one backlink. Thanks!
Hi Adam, excellent content in all your videos. Just wondering about the ahrefs tool. If you are just starting out is it an absolutely essential tool to save time. It is quite expensive. Can you manage with other analytical tools? What do you think?
Great video! Something I noticed in my search analysis for a particular keyword was that the number one ranking site’s article was 7 years old and only 700 words, and frankly just not very good. Although they are a very high DA site, they aren’t necessarily very authoritative or focused on this topic like my site is so I think I could bump them from their spot.
Great video as always Adam. Can i ask - following the strategies you teach in your course, how much money will i need to budget monthly for tools and outsourcing?
Not very much. Web hosting is $2-6/month. The first real expense is Ahrefs but you can do the 7-day trial for $7. Then you don’t need to outsource anything for the first 3-6 months until you’re making revenue. Then you can hire your first writer at an affordable rate.
I'm your new subscriber and seeing your all videos one by one it's really a gem 🔥🔥👌 I never see such type of video in keyword research and competitive research ! Great value Adam !
Thank you for really amazing content! I re watched some parts and still coulndt get one thing for myself. If you can help me or someone else who have mind ideas - will be gratefull!!! I am about to start just brand new web site to promote my stretching courses. For now questions is specificly about BLOG page. It has 0 content. When I am analizing pages of my competitors, shoud I really be focused so hard on DR and URL, that it will be hard to compete? I need info content anyway, should i be still focused on finding low easy competiotion key words?
Hi Adam, love your videos but i'm still confused with keyword research as a newbie. When doing keywords research, is for knowing about what to write about inorder to rank for those keywords or you do keywords research for pages like your homepage, blog page, shop page etc. like these pages having different keywords of their own. Hope you understand my question and hope its not a funny one.
Glad you're enjoying the videos. You do keyword research to rank individual blog posts for a target keyword. Not your home page, blog archive page, shop page, etc.
1. Hrefs is not affordable to everyone, especially new bloggers which this video also target. Are there no ways you can use more generic tools? 2. The keyword examples you used in this video are ones you've already pre-chose. For someone that doesn't have ready keyword ideas to search, how can one get ideas on keywords ideas that has the capacity to rank. 3. You gave examples of certain high competitive keywords, then your summary is that such topics should just be avoided totally. Some tutors suggest that you should write on topics that already get the buzz, what do one do in such instance when you have to write such popular topic, yet it's very competitive. Give up?

How to find Target Keyword for pages like About Us, Privacy Policy, etc. for a new website?
I want to do this for my podcast, keywords would go in the description or audio itself?
What to do with a non-unique text description of the item?

Yes, there are topic clusters around web hosting, blogging, ecommerce, etc.
